Fun course
Front is a tight layout and the back has plenty of water. The course seems to still be recovering from the long harsh winter. The fairways are have lots of hard spots and the tee boxes where the same. I broke more tees off the boxes here then I ever have! But I can say that it was fun and a pretty good value for the money. If you're just looking for a place to get out and play for cheap, this is it.
Pinewood
Greens bumpy; overall layout very good, clubhouse tired. Good value for discounted golf
Old course but nice layout.
This course is old school with tree lined fairways. The greens are large and fair, but stay in the middle or front because if you go over the back then you are in trouble. The course is in pretty good shape even with the amount of rain we have had in the past month. I would recommend this course because it is quite and peaceful.
Good for this time of year.
Winter condition very good. We have had lots of rain so the coarse was soft, but very playable.
Nice course and staff.
This course has many long drives available, which suits my game. Not too many obstacles or traps, but enough to keep you on your toes.
Great course for the $$
Tight fairways and small greens will really make you focus on each shot. Throw in some water and perfectly placed trees this is a great cheap course to practice your shot making abilities. The tee boxes and greens could use some attention but overall the course is normally in decent shape. I play it regularly.
Old course, old layout. but playable conditions.
This course was probably the bomb...in 1963....That being said. It is cheap to play. The conditions are playable. The greens are actually pretty good. Long hitters can flat out destroy this course. If you want a place for the challenge, views, service...etc, this isn't it! If you just want a place to play that won't drain your wallet...this is the place. I suggest you eat before you come to the course....No really.....!!!
Not a bad course for the money
Cart paths in many places were filled with water and squishy mud. While there was someone from the club dragging the path in some places, there was no way to drain all the water, particularly along the left side of the 8th fairway. Cart paths should be leveled and re-surfaced if they're expected to be used after rains.
Having trouble using the bars above! Challenge - good. Course is well maintained. Proshop staff is very friendly. Definitely great value for our money
My husband and I were concerned when we played at around noon yesterday because there was forecast of storm coming. Luckily most players may have played earlier so we managed to finish playing in 3 hrs! It rained soon as we finished.
The course is great for our level of play. I scored 114 and he did 94. Some greens needs grooming but other than that, it was perfect choice for our stopover play on our way back from Biloxi, Mississippi to New Orleans.
We'll surely recommend to our son in law who lives in NOLA.
Fun Course but watch out for rock bunkers
The course is pretty well maintained. most of the greens were fast. Pace is kinda slow for majority straight holes.
Be careful of their bunkers. half the bunkers i looked at had scattered pebble rocks on the surface and about after 1" deep it was solid like concrete.
This course was tight.
The fairways were tight. The course was in good condition and the pace of play was fast.
