When we’re in Williamsburg, we always play this course twice. The greens are extremely fast and you have to really concentrate when reading the greens. It’s a fun course to play and the staff is very accommodating. Looking forward to playing it again in September.

What a beautiful course. Played it 2 years ago and didn't remember the layout being as challenging as it is. Fairways were excellent, and the greens were smooth, quick and true. Would love to play this track again.

My wife & I agree that this is a really lovely course! It plays slightly above its slope & ratng White tees would have my handicap cut by 5 shots! I played blues (black/ white combo) and that was really tough (and still cut my hcp by2)!
Greens are superb but very fast / making for some awkward downhill putts!!
Only criticism was that at 4:30pm the bar was already closed…pro shop could sell us a can of beer but would expect the bar to still be open for drinks & snacks.

We played this course after a couple days of steady rain. It was cart path only. Cart path never bothers me. But the course is gigantic and hard to grasp the layout easily. So cart path has added some extra challenges. The bunkers were filled with water, and the course rule on that day was to remove and take a free drop. Thank goodness! The course is known for it's very deep and challenging bunkers😬. I highly recommend the course. It is in a beautiful setting - no development seen anywhere around the course. Lots of water, beautiful views. It's definitely a destination.

This is a favorite course to play.
After a lot of rain the greens were still in good shape.
No problems with cart path only.
Employees were really friendly and helpful.

Interesting and challenging layout. Conditions good. Slow pace of play.

Course was in decent shape but way too many leaves so wasted a lot of time looking for balls in the leaves (some of the shots weren't even that bad). Luckily we were a two some behind a foursome that was also struggling so we did have lots of time to look for balls without falling behind. There were a number of maintenance people out working on leaves and course conditions but with the number of trees on the course it was a losing battle. Even with waiting and looking for balls, we finished in a little over 4 hours

Reliably good at all times. Great layout super greens.
