Painted Mountain Golf Club
About
The Painted Mountain Golf Club is a challenging desert-style course with a variety of different tees to accommodate every age group and skill level. The course offers a lengthier challenge from the first hole, a par-5 dogleg right, to the last, which requires an approach shot over water in order to reach the green. The Painted Mountain Golf Club, in addition to the course, is also home to the John Jacob's Golf School.

great value
Staff was super friendly and efficient. Early start along with a regular group that played Nine holes starting on the back. Club house was packed and still only took a couple of minutes to get checked in. A lot of rain overnight so the course was wet but didn't effect play. Will play again for sure.
Outback
Slow play people behind kept hitting balls up to us..
Rough around the greens had clumps of grass all over and having 4 par threes on the back 9 bottlenecks everything…won’t be back
Great course for the money. They could use a few more signs to find a few of the holes for first time players
Brutal Pace of Play
We played as a foursome, two of us played from the blues and two of us from the whites, we had a threesome in front of us that we caught up to on ever tee box. The problem wasn't them but the threesome in front of them were playing awfully slow. The ranger was out driving around but refused to ask them to pick up the pace and waited until we got to the 13th hole to ask them to pick it up. There was also dirt mounds around the greens that could be simply smoothed out with a rake, it would take the ranger two minutes to do that if he carried a rake around with him. Overall the golf was good except for the slow play.
Painted Mountain
The course was in wonderful condition. The starter felt like the local people could hit 2 balls each off the number 1 hole. That held up the play at the start, we waited on every hole. We were to tee off at 1:15 which would gave us plenty of time to complete round of 18 holes. We never got onto the first tee till 1:45 which made us not to finish playing before dark. The remark that got me the most was when a player in front of us said we were not locals but they were so they can do whatever they please.
EXTREMELY SLOW
Arrived 15 minutes before our t time
Teed off 40 minutes after our t time
Spent 5 hours on the course
Long day
Poor customer relations, good greens, reasonable rate
Today at end of round went into golf shop and complained we were first out and played front in under 1 hr30 but back took over 2hr 30 since they put 20 people out on hole 10 Told was under 4 hours. It was not and pace of play back nine was horrific. Pro shop guy said d they could do what they want and if I did not like it, play somewhere else I thanked him for his poor customer service.
Good greens, cheap, course needs grass !
We love this course but have not played in over 3 years. Very disappointing not being able to finish our round. 3 holes short due to pace of play. Where are the course marshalls????
Slow Go
Took 45 min for the first two holes. Four foursomes backed up on the second hole. After that the rate of play improved drastically and the round was enjoyable. Course conditions were not bad. The layout is basic but still challenging. Overall good value for the money and great staff.
Slow slow slow
Was a miserable 9 holes of waiting
We quit after 9
