Quail Run Executive Golf Course
About
Quail Run Executive Golf Course has two sets of teeboxes for more golfing options. The course's layout features relatively wide fairways and medium-sized, mildly undulating greens. All of the greens are well protected all around by sand bunkers. The tees and greens are all elevated as well for more challenge. Although the course is mostly flat there are some slight elevation changes on the course. There is also a water hazard, a lake, which comes into play on one hole. The Quail Run Executive Golf Course facility offers different practice facilities including a chipping area and putting green.

Crossover Snafu!
The course is challenging and is generally well kept, greens are in great shape, However.....................
The course is basically nine holes and you play from two sets of tees to make it eighteen. The challenge is on busy days, the pro shop has to maintain absolute control on who is teeing off and when. I have played here before and had no problems. Unfortunately on this day, the pro shop had lost complete control of who was teeing off, whether confirmed times or crossovers. I was about 45 minutes late in teeing off, took 4 hours to play 14 holes on an executive 18!!!!
Had to leave as I had an appointment.
RCSC has to work on improving the scheduling on busy days.Glad these folks are only controlling tee times and not the nation's air traffic!
We enjoyed it, we did the twilight golf. It was good value for the money.
Slow moving and poorly organized
Two slow moving foursomes were put out before a single, me. There was a good gap before this to put me out. The golfers ahead had terrible etiquette and continuously drove carts right up to the green on every hole. They were all over each hole. Not an enjoyable round to play.
Great course
Very nice, walkable course. Complete 9 holes with another couple, in just under two hours
Quail Run is great walking course - always enjoy playing
Good golf course, kept up well. Easy to walk and pace is good. My brother and I walked 9 holes is 1:40. Greens were in great shape and pin placements was challenging yet fair.
Good for earning up for snowbirds
The course is actually for octogenarians in theory which means people over 80.
It’s a simple course in an elderly community if sun city. I was visiting from Toronto and had not played golf in a while.
The fairways were green but off was rough which was actually easier to hit from.
Good, Course, Great Value
Quail Run has a nice mixture of length which asks you to use most every club in your bag. Easy to walk while boasting a good pace of play. The late afternoon tee times are a favorite.with a lesser rate as a bonus.
We enjoyed playing quail run. It is an easy course to walk and was in pretty good shape for such a small and well established tract. Everyone was very nice.
Open and Easy to Walk
I’m out of shape and hadn’t played in a long while. The course is flat and very easy to walk. I carried my bag and didn’t have any trouble.
Very Slow Play
Our twosome was on the 1st tee box at our reserved time but the starter let a 5-some go through ahead of us. He should have had the common sense to let us hit first.
Quail Run Sun City AZ
Billed as an Executive Course, Quail Run has a mix of shorter and longer par 3s, par 4s, and even a par 5.
The course is in excellent shape with good healthy grass on fairways and well-maintained greens with challenging terrain. Course is easily walkable, restrooms are clean and spacious. Real Executives might prefer a more complete clubhouse kitchen offering a more diverse selection of food items, but the surrounding area has plenty of those options in close proximity.
