Coyote Lakes Golf Club
About
Located in the west valley, the golf course at Coyote Lakes Golf Club combines a desert landscape and traditional design with scenic views of the White Tank and Bradshaw Mountains. Although it is modest in length and suitable for all players, the course is still an enjoyable challenge for even advanced golfers. The front nine is more difficult than the back nine with large greens and several contours. The back nine is also challenging though with several notable holes. The fairways are undulating on both and water hazards come into play on several holes. Coyote Lakes Golf Club's signature hole is the 14th, a par-3 hole that requires a shot from an elevated tee to a green that is well protected by two sand bunkers and a lake to the left.

Too few flat fairways
Golfed this course many times but as we age the slanted fairways get harder and we don’t hit it as far.
Good day of golf
Busy but normal for this time of year. Greens are in great shape. hole placement was a challenge. I will be back soon
Course needs lots of love and work
I would not play this course again. First, there is no real range and you hit foam balls that do not simulate a golf ball and they just float on the air.
This is prime growing season and the tee boxes were bare on most holes. Fairways weren't much better and had tons of patches of dirt. The bunkers had zero sand and were terrible.
On the front it was just under 3 hours as there was a 5 some 2 groups in front and a 4some that played the wrong tee box and couldn't cover the forced carries.
Several holes, such as 10 had such a severe slope that 2 shots in our group that landed on the right side of the fairway rolled 50 yards to the left into water.
The same was nice but this isn't a course I'll ever play again.
Needs Some Love
I have played Coyote Lakes several times over the past 4 years. The most recent 2/25/23. The tee boxes and fairways were very patchy and not well maintained. The worst part of the course was the greens! The greens were so bumpy and inconsistent it was impossible to read or judge any putt within 5 feet of the hole. The ball would veer off line from the bumps on the green surface every hole.
Interesting holes.
The layout was nice. Some holes very challenging. Would golf here agsin.
Not good
Course is in terrible shape. All 18 tee boxes have thicker rough than Torrey pines. No ranger tending to pace of play. Got stuck behind 2 foursomes trying to get their tour card. Greens are pitted to the point your ball it being kicked up the slope. $25 course at best. Spent the extra $15-$20 and enjoy a round somewhere else.
Not good
Tee boxes have grass or no grass. Fairways are bad, greens are very bumping and long . Very good driving course off the tee box and narrow. If this course was in good condition it’s worth 85.00 BUT not now. 50.00 maybe. Avoid this one. I’ll let everyone when I find a good by.
Terrible conditions
The management should be ashamed to charge the high fee for this very poorly maintained golf course.
