First time this year
This was the first time I had played Randolph this year, after hearing about the new management and the fact they just hosted a PGA qualifier I thought I'd give it a try. I have to say there have been some changes. New carts with GPS was the change that stood out for me. The driving range was typical, hard pan lies and over used golf balls. The greens were nice, the fairways were in great shape and the tee boxes were ok. Many areas around the greens were sparse grass and if there was some it was in clumps. I was only in one sand trap near a green, it was dry, hard, but when I dug in I could see there was plenty of sand. A little TLC in the traps would help. The pace of play was the biggest draw back. For a course that isn't long from green to tee 4.45 hours is a bit long. No ranger. I'll give it another try before I recommend playing, maybe this was just a bad day.
Golf course is great. Restroom facilities need remodeling. Severely worn and smell bad. Definitely below the standard of the golf course
All around best course in Tucson!
Great elevations, beautiful course and has a lot of variation on holes, distance, and scenery!
Always Fun
Course conditions are quite good for the number of rounds played on it. An initiative to get golfers to repair ball marks on the greens would be nice. I realize it’s an issue for most courses and not indicative of anything mgmt is doing wrong…just frustrating that many people don’t understand that a repaired ball mark heals in a day or so while leaving it takes a couple of weeks. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
All in all a great experience!
Great time
Coarse is in great shape after the reseed. They do need some new carts . Ours kept stalling.
Great day
The coarse looked amazing after the re seed. Tee boxes and greens were super nice. Had a great time.
Nice course.
Green are recovering from aeration so putting is a bit different but over all in good condition. Went in the afternoon and hardly anyone out there playing due to heat but would recommend everyone up play
Price Switch
I was told at Teeoff there would be no charge for the reservation. However the $25+ I paid I was transferred to Golf Now was not applied to the green fee.
I consider a this a sham and I will not use Tee Off or Golf now again.
Shane on you!
Slow play
Lovely course but very slow play. Slow players should be waving through those behind who are playing at a decent pace.
