River Club is a popular Ron Garl-designed golf course famous for its unique moundings and positioning of grass and pot bunkers. Front nine are open with all elevated greens. River Club's back nine at are cut into the woods. There is water on 16 holes.

I will Go Back!
The tee boxes and fairways (and rough) were in very good condition. Same with the MAJORITY of the greens (even though they had aerated about a week ago). First time playing, but I Will Go Back and play again and again.
Love this course
There have been many upgrades to this course. It has always been one of my favorite over the years.

Great day out with some friends. The carts are awesome with Bluetooth and GPS. Challenging course and an affordable price. Looking forward to coming back! Thank you!

Strong Layout
Well laid out course. Greens on the front nine need work. 6th hole green in particular was rough.
Golf
I've played here several times before this is the worst I've seen the condition of the course greens are horrible tee boxes need work. It appears that they're making an attempt to bring it back up to par. I'll go back when they're done. Drinks food and the wait staff are still good
We apologize for the summer maintenance on the greens. We need to aerify and topdress with sand this time of year to keep the greens healthy. Things will be looking great all summer except for these events. Tony
Golf
The course is in good shape for the weather we've had right up until our last couple of rains. Most of the greens a pretty pot marked from what appears to be previous aeration. All in all it's in good shape fun course to play. Good food and drinks at the clubhouse nice way to end
Always a good day
I've seen this course in better shape, but overall for the price and the pace it was a good day. It's a challenging layout and reasonably priced.
Potential
I truly enjoy the layout of the course, but course conditions are rough. Greens need help. In some cases, it was painted sand. Two many comparable options that have good greens.
Thanks for the review. We are transitioning from winter rye to summer Bermuda. Requires some verticutting and top dressing. Will be great all summer long with proper maintenance. Tony
Nice Day at River Club
Course was great. Pace was slow on the front nine, but the rangers were on it and got it moving, Greens were ok except the last 4 were airated
Nice round of gold
we started out on time.....Contrary to what we read the starter was very friendly......The course is in good condition compared to the other public courses we have visited in this drought..... We actually had a marshal come by and ask us how we were doing and not just to tell us to hurry up.....

Thanks for the great comments. it’s actually hole 5, and we are on it. We aerified the whole course today, and we think this will relieve the pressure and fix this green. Our goal is to get a little better each month.
