Nice course
Nice course but the pace was too slow. We start at 1:30pm. By the time we are finished it was dark. Other than the pace, this course is awesome. They should have ranger out to push the slow players. They need to learn how to play ready golf.
Always a fun round
As a single I get hooked up with very interesting people most of the time. The course is always in very good shape. Most of the time the pace of play is excellent.
Re Seeding.of the course!
Great Course ! Close to the Strip! Challenging! Friendly , efficient staff!
However, the only negative was, the course was being seeded, subsequently the cart path only rule was in effect!
Palm course fresh off overseeding
We had to use cart-path only. Nice on a day with unusually pleasant temps in Vegas (~high 80s low 90s) for Labor Day weekend.
The course was in decent shape but had just come off overseeding. The fairways were average and the greens were good. We played as a twosome behind another twosome (815 am start) and got done in about 4 h 15 min
$39 & Easy
Got told on multiple occasions how this course has been let go the last few months. I can see that. It literally looked like they hadn't watered it in weeks. The bunkers were better than the fairways. In the case of FAIRWAYS. The sand was packed and there was no way to get under it. I enjoyed playing here, but I'll wait until they water it next time and then go.
course in good shape
Always like playing this course, like the course layout, always in good condition.
Greens and fairways are plush. Has some really fun holes. Very pleased with this course.
ALWAYS WORTH THE DRIVE TO ARRIVE
I play this course probably twice a year. Regardless of the time of year or weather conditions Angel Park, and it's other course called Mountain, play well and are immaculate. I would prefer a golf course not try and nickel and dime me with paying extra to hit range balls, but this is my only detractor.
Course Fine, but not as advertised
Booked the tee time with a "cart, 18 holes, GPS" icons.
No GPS. Staff said the management company removed them all.
Almost ready to tee up on first tee when we realized we did not have a score card or pencil. Had to return to starter and ask for a score card.
Great value.
Hadn't played Palm course in 6 years. Shot a 95 in spite of lousy course management on my part. could have made 90. I'll get them next time:)
Fun Day
First time at Angel Park Palm Course since moving to LV. Ever changing weather pattern made the day somewhat challenging esp, the wind and occasional rain showers. Course, with expectation of a few greens was in great condition. Once the foursome in front sped up their play, the pace was better. For the value, a great time and golf day
Bachelor party
We had a group of 6 play for a bachelor party. The rented clubs were in top shape and very good. Pace was somewhat slow, but managble especially with the help of the two dollar PBR's. Everyone enjoyed the course and location. Beautiful course for all of our first times playing in Vegas. Outstanding value and we can't wait to return in the future. It was the highlight of our trip to Vegas.
Stay in the fairways
No complaints about the course except you need to be accurate with tee shots. A stray tee short can go into the desert which lines every hole. Not easy to find your ball if it goes in there like it would be if it were grass. Also, the greens are old and multicolored. They are very hard to read and inconsistent.
Average Vegas course
The design and layout of the courses at Angel Park are quite challenging and its location in a busy part of Summerlin are nice. However, the tee boxes and greens are often in pretty mediocre shape, and they tend to send out too many golfers. Quite often the pace of play is abysmally slow.
Nice day on the Palm course
The course is in solid shape right now. The greens are running true, maybe a little bouncy though. Overall, Palm at Angel Park is looking good
Excellent day
The course was in very good condition, and I found it challenging but also forgiving if played smart. I will be back again.
Hope it was an off day
We played this course in February and loved it. Hopefully this was just on off day for the course. 2 groups on 1st tee when we pulled up then a group pulled up right behind us . Was a very long slow round. We will go back and play again because course is a great place to play and staff is very friendly.
Great Nature Ride
Course was in very good condition. Some of the greens were a little beat up but overall very good. Has some interesting holes and a lot of wildlife -- rabbits, ground squirrels, geese, pigeons, and the like. I was paired up with 3 locals and pace of play was really slow for most of the round. It was backed up from the start--20 minute late start. It took us 2+45 hours for the first 9 and multiple groups were waiting on most tees. Eventually a couple of groups quit playing and pace of play returned to normal for the last 6 holes. A couple of folks in my group also had to leave early because they were out of time.
Outstanding course
I was lucky to be paired up with someone who had played the Palms course. Outstanding and friendly staff that was helpful. Only down fall was they removed the GPS units from the carts.
