Best views in reno sparks area
This couse is fantastic if you like senic beauty and huge views when you play! Challenging course very reasonable rates. This doesnt look or play like a public course at all. My favorite in local area
Pace was good for Sunday
Course is in good condition and from the blue tees can be a real challenge when you have wind gusts at 30 mph all day.
Great place to golf
This course was a bit challenging and fun course to play.
Fun
Great staff. Fun course. Every hole is interesting. If I lived here I would play at least weekly.
Amazing course
I look forward to playing this course every year such a beautiful course!!!
nice round
The course is not worth $45 a round, that being said, the course design was interesting. Elevated greens, dog leg holes on the hillsides made choosing landing zones a challenge. The greens need some TLC and the fairways could use a thickened blanket of grass. Some fairways were an enigma, no idea where to even aim and the diagrams on shape of the fairways were way off. I still gave the course an average rating and would play it again if I couldn't get on at other courses actually worth $45.
Very nice course
Played this course several times in the last two years. Always enjoyed the course and the folks that I was paired up with.
Since I'm a very old duffer I need all the help the youngsters can give me.
Better in the morning
This is a fun course but you want to get there in the morning. The wind picks up in the afternoon every time I play here.
Great day of golf on a very nice course
I've golfed here many times and every time is a great time. The staff is very accommodating and the course is very challenging at times, which makes it a lot of fun. Thanks to everyone involved in making my experience a great one each and every time.
Nice fun round
Only my second time out this year. I had a good experience. They were plugging the fairways to improve water retention and it was pretty windy on the second nine. Not very busy so I finished in just over 4 hours. Greens were pretty quick and challenging. Will play here again. They have a fun exec course here also.
championship course
Always tough but for the money great and challenging for all level of golfers
The Pictures DO NOT tell the story.
PLEASE DO NOT believe the pictures that you see online. This place is a complete piece of junk! I am 46yrs old and have been playing golf for 38yrs. I have NEVER played a worse course in my life. The staff were great, the F&B was great...but the condition of the course could not have been worse. There is Goose droppings all over the course, There are more washed out/bare places on the course than there is fairway and rough. There is virtually no grass on the course. To say this course is a complete FARCE is an understatement. We saw the pictures on the website and thought it looked great. States that the course has held multiple PGA events at the facility. My statement would be...NO PGA events in the last 50 yrs. No tournament director in their right mind would bring their event to this facility. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.
Great course
Greens in great shape for winter. Challenging, but fun. Would like to play in spring. Great rates on Golfnow.
It's wild
Interesting layout. Anything but normal. You will not be unentertained. It's fair though, nothing I would call ridiculous. Conditions were excellent for late January.
Staff could make the trip worth it.
As often as our group plays golf (regardless of weather), never had we had a bad experience until playing Wildcreek GC. Having played this course on another visit, we expected the same experience ( which was good) on this recent visit. So, for those reading this, we have this to say.
We booked our trip on golf now.com. A winter Wednesday in Sparks Nevada. Having played this course last summer, we only returned for the fact that the weather was good enough for us year round, California golfers. Never again!
A: The staff should be friendly on a cold, winter day. Considering the fact that the course is Brown, and maybe, just maybe, the course only gets 25 golfers a day, one would think that this would be the most golfer friendly place in Nevada. Well, from our experience it WAS NOT! AND THEY ADVERTISE "Year around golf".
B: It is quite obvious to any golfer that this course is a mis managed, poorly run, dive of a golf course. Maintenance anyone? If so , please start with accommodations if you are going to charge $35.00 a round with golf carts without windshields in the winter, in Nevada. Oh yeah, you do sell plastic golf cart windshields for$30.00 also incase you would like to purchase one.
C: Cart path only. So, dress warm. Also bring gps because the carts only have cup holders and strapsfor your bags which hardly work.
D: The have an intercom system that works. So don't break the cart path only law on hole 9, because if you do, they will announce it to the entire golf course as you are taking your approach shot to a rock hard green the size of your golf cart.
Ok,ok, you've heard enough (and we won't bag on the staff they're just doing their job) 1 out of 10 stars. This place is the pits. Try redhawk or even washoe. Wildcreek GC is a golf experience that we will not go through ever again.
Unfriendly staff
The gentleman in the pro shop was nasty and unprofessional, ruin my day, worst day I ever had golfing- won't play there ever again.
Winter play
For playing in mid January this was a gift. Better take these when you can, it will get bitter cold again.
Great Deal
Best deal in the Reno area. Wildcreek golf course will definitely have a variety of different shot.
staff
Always great, always smiling, always fun.. Thanku.. Course was n great shape ..carts were nice
