Golden Bear Golf Club at Indigo Run

Well designed course and I loved the fact I had to use every club in my bag. Pace of play was excellent and we were round in just over 3 1/2 hours. Greens in excellent shape. Visiting from the UK but we will be back next year.

The courses fairways, tee, greens and even rough were in excellent shape. This superintendent definitely knows what he’s doing.

Everything about my round was perfect. Went out as a single and got paired up with a twosome from Rochester NY. Mike and Joe busted on each other from start to finish. I felt like I was home lol. From booking my tee time to finishing up my round at the end was picture perfect

Very nice course with really different holes, not all cookie cutter.

Course was in great shape pace of play a little slow was behind a group of locals who hit two balls every tee shot.

Our first time here although we have played many of the Hilton Head courses. Reasonably priced. Wide landing areas but be wary of the large live oaks that overhang the fairways. The greens were immaculate though the back nine was slower. I thought the course played shorter (6200 yards felt more like 5800) than the marked yardage as the fairways were firm. One issue - I ended up in a pond that was not marked with a stake tall enough to be seen from the fairway -- and with out GPS os unknown to a first time player. A few pins were in rather interesting places for a resort course but there is nothing unusual about that occurrence. We will be back on our next trip.

Excellent course. Was I great shape. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Nice layout. Would highly recommend. Snack bar closes relatively early and I played later but that is understandable…Also got a great rate on Golf Now.

The course was in great shape from tee to green. There are two areas that need a lot of attention, the very slow play, especially on the back nine and we teed off at 1400 and never saw a cart girl the entire 5 plus hour round.

Beautiful setting, reasonable pace.pertty well kept for a public course.

We love this course. We play it every year. Very disappointed in the pace of play. No ranger moving groups along. Unreal that a clubhouse closes at 5pm on a Saturday. Unacceptable.

A complete let down! We expected so much more from a course with Jack’s name on it. The course is on level with the $45 courses we play here in central Florida. So glad we didn’t pay and play in the morning.

Course was OK. Layout was good, staff was friendly, but the price was too steep given the condition of the course. Rental clubs were also very expensive. If you’re looking for a great experience in this area at a good price go to Old South.
