I Recommend This Course
Best of the three.
I have now played all three courses at port Royale and I enjoyed Barony the most. Greens where excellent very receptive to high shots and rolled very well. I think the layout is the best of the three not too difficult but enough variance to make round enjoyable. I played Robbers Row 2 weeks ago and then greens on Barony where so much nicer. Planters is still closed after storms but either on of the other two are great but for me Barony is the best.

“A little backed up”
We checked in for our 2:04 tee time, were told they were “a little backed up”. We actually teed off at 2:35, and had a wait on nearly every teebox. Pace of play was poor, no Ranger in sight to keep things moving. Otherwise, a typical resort island course, friendly enough for beginners, and just challenging enough for the better golfer.

Hilton Head Vacation
We had a great round of golf. The head pro Jay is your man for answers. Only issue is rental clubs are weak. Will come back.

Greens are in great shape but the bunkers had not been attended too and were compacted and unraked. Fairway were ruin and so was around the greens
