Old Orange at Verandah

Both veranda courses are well maintained and fun to play. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I was very impressed with the condition of the greens and fairways were awsome . Highly recomend this course to any golfer.

We loved playing this course. It has survived all the rainy weather beautifully. Moderate difficulty, beautiful design and landscaping. Pace of play was great and staff were extemely friendly. This is a definate repeater on our next trip.

We played this course today, it was absolute fantastic, very good conditions challeging and absolute great value for the price.
Very friendly and helpful people.clubhouse proshop and bar very nice and also the lunch was excellent.
The greens are very difficult to read.
We would play it again and recommended for all golfers.

Beautiful course. Make sure your shirt is tucked in and you take your hat off when you go to the 19th hole.

This is one of the most beautiful courses in the area. We golfed Old Orange and prefer that to Whispering Pines. Huge Oak trees, the fairways were in great shape. Great golf!!!!

Considering all the rain we have received, the course was in great shape. 6 or 7 holes were cart path only. No big deal. Mitigating factor - super greens. Fast and no grain. Highly recommend.

This was a great course with very friendly staff. Great conditions, nice layout, a great value at any price! Greens are immaculate, fairways are well kept, all in all this place is a masterpiece.

The only negative is that it is very spread out. If you get lost finding the driving range or practice facility, don't worry, because I did too.

If you haven't played her, DEFINITELY do it. You won't be disappointed.

This course has great potential. Verandah is absolutely beautiful! The staff is very professional. Both courses are very well maintained. Whispering Oak is definitely the step-child to Old Orange, though. It's not nearly as enveloped by nature as it's made out to be. There are a number of beautiful holes with nice mature oaks and cypress trees on the first 9, but too many of the holes overlook unfinished and empty "future" home sites. The course is in the "9 out and 9 back" style, so there is really no turn. This design, coupled with the lack of trees made the back 9 almost unplayable on the day I was there due to strong winds. The group of older folks in front of me really struggled which added to the slowness of the round. But, on the positive side, the greens are phenomenal! Definitely the toughest I've ever putted on. They'll challenge players of all skill levels.

Overall the course was awesome. Wide open off the tees and fairways were great. However the greens are extremely challenging, and not only difficult but recently aerated. Should have been told about recent work on the greens but still one of the nicest courses on the site.

The course was in great condition for the money. Enjoyable round. Aside from the starter being on a bit of a power trip, the staff was very friendly and attentive. Members were quite pompous as well.

Played this course recently and found it to be just average. The layout is fine but the condition of the fairways and greens was suspect. At $45 the value just isn't there. Was only worth ~$30.

If you think the course is wide open, you're right. If you think that makes it easy, you're wrong. It will give you all you can handle especially if the wind is blowing.

Course in great shape, challenging well manicured fast greens. Staff helpful and very friendly. Not a single complaint about my day at Old Orange. Will definitely be back.
