Showed up to a course with grass that was completely killed off in prep for overseeding. No notification given when I booked the tee time. Club house staff blamed Golfnow saying that "If I booked thru their website, it would have shown.". Found out that was untrue as everyone I talked to was unaware as well.

Was told by the club house staff that I was obligated to play as the course has a 72 hour cancellation policy. Just a horrible day of grass being blown in our faces by on course staff and work happening on pretty much every hole.

Hard to believe such a thing goes on like this in a sport that likes to brag about honor. This experience made be cancel my November Vegas trip and book a Scottsdale trip.

This is a relatively easy resort course with somewhat quirky narrow undulating fairways but plenty bailout areas. Although only 6600 yds from gold tees, because there are 5 par threes, the par fours are long which makes the course play longer, this is a good thing. Good greens. My biggest issue was being at least 1.5 club longer because of hot dry weather. Not the most memorable layout as holes somewhat seem similar but at least it is not a carnage of my usual canyon golf. Could be pricey, but I played through Forelinx at $106, which is acceptable. Airport noice is present, but not to disurbing level. Liked it. Will play again.

Bali Hai is a very good course in a prime location within 15 min. of the major casino-hotels on the Strip. Atypical Las Vegas layout without forced carries, enough water to make play interesting, and great greens. Reflection Bay, Paiute, and Bali Hai are my top 3 Vegas courses of the 15 I've played over the years.

Im staying at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, so Bali Hai was the closest course that had good ratings. I never played out in Las Vegas but there were plenty of options. Being from the East Coast, I figured it would be best to golf early in the morning before the high temperatures hit. That turned out to be a great decision. I was the first to tee off, and finished my round in about 2.5 hours. I payed for the unlimited play, so I went around again with no issues, and finished in about 3.5 hours (there were a few groups that were now ahead of me and I was in no rush).

The staff was awesome. Left you alone while you played, and we're happy to help if you had any questions.

Airplanes/helicopters were flying overhead all day since the airport is next door, like most of the reviews point out. It can see how some would find it to be distracting, but I thought it was kind of cool & didn't notice it much as the day went on.

I definitely recommend this course. Worth paying a little extra for unlimited if you have time to play 36 holes (or more).

This is a good course, but not great. You pay for the convenience of a location near the big hotels. Close proximity to the airport results in a lot of noise. The aesthetics of the course were a bit diminished by the overcast and light rain the day I played, yes rain in Vegas! If you have the time and a car go outside the city 20-30 minutes for better options.

I have to admit that I wasn't sure what to expect being so close to the strip, but I was very pleased with the condition of the course and layout. The only negatives to me were no full driving range and the noise from the aircraft overhead because of the proximity to the airport. Food and drink were a little on the expensive side, $5 for a Powerade seems a little high to me. But the course was in great shape and not overly hard. I'm about a 11 or 12 hdcp and shot a 84 from the gold tees. Only 1 tee beyond that, the blacks. might have been more challenging from there. I recommend this course and will play it again!

The card says 6600 yards. Realize there are 5 par threes, so it plays more like 6800-6900. The distance is in the par 4s, so many long approach shots. Course condition was fantastic as is the layout. The staff was very helpful. I would recommend, if you get a good rate. Greens were a little slow due to the heat and them trying to save the grass.

I'm a Clark county resident in Nevada. Yet the kid behind the desk insisted on giving me a hard time proving my necacada residence after making a reservation on golfnow. I did not have my credentials on me since I left in the car. I dont ever brink wallet onto the course for fear of losing it. H I ended up getting annoyed as this bali hai manager was so belligerent to me about needing to show my license. His behavior was condescending and humiliating. . No I will not be back there for golf. Too many ither good courses to go to without dealing with that.

Awful experience.

Nice course if you like playing next to an Airport with planes constantly overhead. Hard to say if the amenities we good or not since everything seemed closed. No drinks at bar or outside. I think a place that wants to act like its exclusive could be more accomodating to golfers.

As for the course, some interesting holes, good greens, some tight fairways. My partners thought it was not worth that kind of money in comparison with other Vegas courses. I believe there are many more interesting courses that are a better value and value customers much more. Rio Secco, Cascata, Reflection Bay, TPC., Revere, Paiute are all better courses and less costly.

Nice course layout, good condition. McCarran Airfield is right across the street. If the wind is coming from the West [usually is] The jets take off directly over the course and they are constant. Plus, the Grand Canyon tour helicopters are thrown in for good measure. Don't care how good the course is the noise is too distracting.

LOL! Never play Airport Golf Course in Columbus, OH! Planes approaching from the east fly directly over the course. The runway threshold is about 300 yds. from the fairway. They even had to close the course for 2 years while they rebuilt the runway. Runway approach lights are actually on the course, but not in play.

Having just stepped off a plane following a 5 hr flight I wasn't sure if it was smart to play golf but I got such a good GolfNow deal I figured if I only got in 9 before dark it was worth it. I started at 3 pm and went off by myself. The course was beautiful and challenging. The planes and helicopters flying overhead were a bit distracting but not disruptive. I will play again if ever in Vegas again

Selected for proximity to strip. Worth $80-120 not $200-300 in my opinion. Vegas strip up charge. Nice pro shop. Carts have GPS to pins/hazards plus touch screen. Gets a lot of play. Greens were true and fast. Overall decent course but not great.

Really nice course! Well maintained. Good layout. Forgiving. The only negative I found was the close proximity to the airport. Expect airplane and helicopter noise.
