Boulder Creek Golf Club - Coyote Run/Eldorado Valley
About
Boulder Creek Golf Club offers 27 holes of championship golf. There are three different nines that each have a unique character, they can be played in different 18-hole combinations. The Coyote Run/Eldorado Valley combination is both challenging and playable with a tough front nine and a more player-friendly back. The front nine is routed across an arroyo-covered landscape, which can sometimes provide errant shots with a variety of scoring opportunities. The subtle but tricky elevation changes can work in your favor but they can also be punishing. The back nine is the shortest of the three but you would certainly never guess it. There are plenty of opportunities for long drives and golfers will also enjoy unobstructed shots from the lush fairways. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout and water comes into play on a few holes.

Rude Clerk
I am Asian American, and my handicap is in the single digits. I've been playing at Boulder Creek for more than 10 years, I've played there 6 times this year alone. Even though it's a 40 minute drive, it's one of the best courses in Vegas so I go there often.
When I found Golf Now, I booked all of my tee times through their website. I can make reservations any time of the day, and when I play by myself I can get tee times for a better price, so it's very convenient.
On March 29, I went to Boulder Creek 40 minutes early to practice with my new putter.
I went to check in with the female clerk that I haven't seen often there. She said, "Oh you paid online, so you can go to the starter." but she said it with an unfriendly tone and an unhappy look. I don't know why.
I went out and tipped the young staff member when he carried my bag to the cart, then another staff member came and put range balls in the cart. I told him that I was going to the putting and chipping greens so I didn't need range balls. At that time, the starter told me that another player was going to join and share the cart, so I thought the balls were for them.
As I was waiting for that player, the female clerk suddenly came out of the clubhouse, and started talking to the staff members about me while jerking her head in my direction. Then she told me, "If you want those range balls you need to pay $10!"
So I told her, "What? I'm going to the chipping greens. I didn't ask for those range balls." At that time, the young staff member I tipped felt uncomfortable and began walking away. The lady was then talking to another staff member while looking at me. After that, the young staff member came to me with an uncomfortable look and said "Sorry, me okay. I don't care about the balls." and then he took the range balls off the cart. The lady went back into the clubhouse without saying anything.
What the heck?! How could she be so rude to the customers? When I think about it, anyone who books through Golf Now has to pay $10 for range balls. The young staff members didn't know I booked through Golf Now, and that female clerk probably thought I was tipping them to get the range balls without paying for them.
I told her very clearly that I was going to the putting and chipping greens and that I didn't ask for any range balls. Knowing that, shouldn't she apologize to me? Some golfers are sensitive, the smallest noise can mess up their shot. Because of that lady's rude behavior to me, my whole day was ruined. She could have misunderstood, but even if she was doing her job she shouldn't show such poor attitude to the customers. In the 10 years I've played at this great golf course, I have never met such a rude employee. She needs to change her behavior towards the customers.
Good challenge
First time playing Boulder Creek. Some interesting holes where even if I hit well, you may end up in a bunker or ditch if one isn’t able to control the direction well. Some clumps growing on the fringes, but otherwise, the course was in god shape.
Excellent course layout, greens were in good shape as well as the fairways. Fringes around the greens are very poor as there are tight of a secondary grass making putting and chipping pretty much impossible as the toughs of grass kick the ball all over the place or outright stop the ball. There were almost no garbage cans on the tee boxes!
Love the layout
Had a great day! Fairways in decent shape for this time of year, greens rolling well, pace of play was fine but the bunkers need some TLC. I’ll definitely play this course again.
Great Course and Staff
Since we're not local, we only get to play this course when we're visiting the area. It's always well maintained and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Wish we had more opportunities to play here.
Kathy was excellent
I had a prepaid 1:26 PM tee time and she still honored it for checking in 1 hr later. I think she only works on weekends
Simply the Best
Boulder Creek never disappoints. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice practice/warmup area and the pace of play is always very good. Courses are challenging and always in great shape. Best value in southern Nevada. Highly recommend.
A Great Experience
Played this course for the first time and was left smiling after our round.
Greens, fairways and tees in excellent shape.
Well worth the time and money.
Would definitely recommend ❗️🏌️👍🇨🇦
best of the bunch
We played 3 different golf courses in the Vegas area. All were fun, but Boulder Creek was the best. Greens rolled excellent, fairways had tight lies and the whole facility and staff were great. We played Desert and Coyote nines and were very challenging. The only knock and they weren't alone in this category, the bunkers were like cement. i'd go back for sure.!
Enjoyible
This greens are in great shape, it rolls and it brakes nicely.
Challenge this course, you will like it.
Guaranteed!!
Solid Value
Not the most spectacular or flashiest course in the Vegas region, but a well maintained, fun, moderately challenging play, and one of the better values around. Would definitely recommend.
Happy Golfer
My wife and I had to wait for our flight in the evening so we decided to play Boulder Creek and it was a great experience along with great people in the pro shop and partners to play golf with, would definitely go back to this course
