Fun course
Good course to play for beginner and intermediate players wide fairways and receptive green. I would have rated the course higher if the greens were not sanded. The balled rolled forever on the fairways which was great for my wife. The best part about this course was lunch at the restaurant. Excellent food and service.
4 hour round
Grass range, putting green and chipping green with bunker to work on your short game before going out was great. Staff was great and I thoroughly enjoyed the lost art of the 4 hour round. Great day out!
Slow play?
We took a Hot deal at 11:15 on a Saturday and weren't paired with anyone? So a 2 some sandwiched in-between 2 4somes and may I add the group in front of us was so slow! We waited almost 5 minutes on every shot. If your only capable of hitting 125 yd drives sideways? Then watch some videos or play best ball. I assume you aren't going to work the next day and telling your buds you shot a 150!!! Last of all did they let us through or was there a Marshall? Of course not.
Great course!
Well worth the 45 minute drive from Scottsdale. Course in great shape. Staff was super friendly and pace of play was good. We will definitely be back to this hidden gem.
Lil bit costly
Lil bit costly, but this time of year aren’t they all. Course in great shape, but greens were a bit hard. Just water them.
Good Condition
The course was in one of the best conditions in the Valley. I was impressed. It is a simple but good layout and a great course to practice on.
Great morning of golf @ The Duke
Staff is friendly and welcoming. Morgan (beer cart) is awesome. Course was in great shape! Challenging but rewarding. Would definitely play again!
Eat neighborhood golf course in Arizona
With its wide fairways, tight greens, well placed hazards, and beautiful lawnmenship. This course will challenge you while still making you look like a pro. Whether you are a big man and drive a million miles or you're a master at the short game, these challenging pars make for a well worth trip to this little big town of Maricopa. After you play sit down and enjoy a view of the lake and get served by the most helpful staff. Prices anywhere in Arizona are bipolar but well worth the dime you work for still at a great price. I recommend this course for any ages. My ten year old junior gets to slap it around with the best of them while everyone encourages her. Don't miss this opportunity. This place is my new home course for sure.
Nice course
Good course, TOUGH pin placement on front 9. Idk if it was greens keeper revenge day or what but they were comical. Literally pins placed right next to/on 4’ grade slopes or 4’ away from edge of green. Like for a Sunday pin placement didn’t need to be in incredibly tough spots, pace of play was good but could have been better if groups were not 3 plus putting.
Nice Course
It was my first time playing this course. It was extremely windy and that made things more challenging.
The course was in good shape and the staff are super friendly and helpful.
This course is a little jewel located a little out of the way. I highly recommend giving it a try.
