North Shore Golf Course

Greens were in good shape and rolled well...however there were heavily topdressed areas toward the edges of several greens. The rest of the course made me realize why they overseed courses down here. This course did not overseed and it was dramatically different than the others we've played. The tees, fairways and rough were slightly browning and heading towards dormant? They not as pleasing to the eye as the rest of the courses we played - all of which were very green. North Shore front 9 layout was standard fair for the area....but the back 9 brought in a lot of moss covered trees. It was picturesque, but was overly tight in several places. For first time players it was easy to think you were aiming for the proper placement...only to find yourself blocked by the trees. A couple of the drives needed pinpoint accuracy.

I would have given a 2 star Fair rating.....but after paying $30 for greens fees & a cart - very similar to the $24-$32 we paid for the other 3 courses - my friend who was joining us here was charged $50 to rent a bag of clubs that I wouldn't have paid more than $200 to purchase! If you look a the picture....the Driver is a 20 year old steel shaft not very big Bertha (so we shared my driver), Adams 3w, Beat up TM RBZ hybrid and an at least matching set of Wilson FG irons. I was embarrassed since I was the one choosing the course.

This course is a must play every time I visit Central FL. Tucked away over near MCO, you can’t miss with a round here. Outside of the five some of 15+ handicappers playing on Saturday morning as if it were Saturday at the Maters, I enjoy every round I’ve ever played here.

I hadn’t played here in about a year, the reviews were a bit negative. All in all, I thought the course was in great shape. There were a few greens that had some brown areas and some had some weeds coming in. They need to be rolled because they ran slow. Also the bunkers need sand and work.
But I will play here again, but only if the prices come down to $50 or so during the summer.

North Shore is currently in the best shape it’s been in (maybe) since it opened. The greens had been plugged and sanded in slightly bad areas around the edges. Other than that, the course is covered in bright green turf.

I play $40-60 courses all over Orlando and this was the best conditioned course I’ve been on this year.

The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the greens need just a little bit of help. Some fungus on the edges and small dirt spots. Did not affect my game at all. The bartender is nice, no wait on any hole and the rest of the course is in fantastic shape. You can tell someone here cares about what they do

The staff at North Shore has obviously put a lot of effort into the course. It's in excellent shape. Very reasonable price for a great course

We had not played here before but will definitely go back. Staff were very friendly from the outset. The Course is challenging from the back tees, my wife is a learner so played off the front tees but stir enjoyed the day. Everyone we met on course was friendly and courteous.

This Course reminded me of Westchase in Tampa and a little like Big Cypress in Lakeland. It was very well maintained with perfect greens and some challenging shots into the greens. You must know where to land the ball from the tee on several tee boxes ( not sure which ones ) or you could be surprised to fish your ball out of a lake. Overall, a really nice track and believe I prefer this over Eagle Creek just a fer miles away.

Course in good shape. A few greens have some bad patches not affecting the entire green. Otherwise healthy and very playable.

Course is in good shape, with the exception of a few of the ladies tee boxes need attention (bare of grass) and some of the greens also need fixing for the same reason. However, they are in the process of fixing some of the greens now. Have recommended this to several of my friends and will be playing again soon. Great staff.

Enjoyed the round very much. Will add it to the rotation of courses I play.
Found it in best condition it has been in a while. minor changes to the layout and hazards make it more appealing and enjoyable.
Will bring out a group of buddies on Friday am.
