Just don’t get it.

Made a tee time on a Monday. Got paired up. Waited on first tee and the entire remaining 8 holes. Had a fivesome in front of us playing out of three bags. Literally waited 10 minutes on every shot. Had a sixome two groups behind us. Guy in pro shop was nice and refunded us the back 9 green fee because we couldn’t do a six hour round. Full of lake visitors who don’t know anything about golf. Awful experience. Course was in good shape. We started on back 9 and it was good until the last couple holes that should have a clowns head and windmill on the green. The beeches won’t see me again. Too many other good courses around.

Beeches Review

This is a great course and fun to play. There is a good mix of tight holes with landing zones and holes you can rip your driver. The course is well maintained and the greens a little hard to read but mowed and rolled out.

Great Course Great Value!

I played Beeches with my 8 year old daughter yesterday. I have been playing this course since they opened in 2007. It's a fun and challenging course. The front 9 plays completely different then the back. Course and greens were almost perfect. Aaron was working the desk and he is great. He offered to let my daughter use some house clubs. She had her own set! Great value on this course especially if you play later in the day...the sun sets super late on the West side of the State. Thank you, Beeches!!

Links Golf Fun!

One of my funnest golf days this summer! We scheduled a tee time based on Golf Advisor reviews and the course website. To be honest, both "under sell" the quality of the golf course.

This links-style course will challenge players of all levels depending on the tees played and the daily wind conditions. The layout is superb and the greens are their signature design element. The undulating greens can be a challenge for the beginner or high handicapper. while presenting a fair test for the golfer who wants a short-game challenge. Greens roll true and are fast. Consider them a "taste of Augusta National" in southwest Michigan.

The staff was friendly and welcoming - very reflective of this family-owned golfing gem. The quality of the course and value it offers in the South Haven area is unmatched. It's definitely a "must play again" on my list of SW Michigan courses.

I have golfed here since it was opened. I go 2 to 4 times a week. They are not snobs that require collard shirts, but you do have to wear a shirt. I have never seen anyone with their shirt off anywhere around the course. The greens are some of the best putting you will find in west MI. Although the course is relativity flat. There are hazards(water, sand) well placed throughout. As far as the food, I go to golf, not eat. And they don't claim to be A five star restaurant. If you play on the right days and times, you can get a better deal. $300 twilight membership is the way to go.

The course is in nice shape for this time of year

The price was fantastic, the staff was freindly, the conditions of 30+mph wind was a challenge but this course allows some foregiveness.

A nice course for the price.

We played on a Saturday morning... a beautiful day. Course was in decent shape. The course is aptly named beaches as there is sand galore on the front nine. The fairways are generous, but if you spray the ball it will be a long day for you.
