About
Located in the West Valley, the championship-length course at the Coldwater Golf Club boasts several different challenges for an interesting round of golf. There are elevated tees as well as several dry washes. There are two lakes providing water hazards on the golf course as well. There are also dramatic elevation changes caused by the mountainous terrain. Aside from the challenging game, the course also offers beautiful mountain vistas. The course has not only one signature course but two. The first is the modest eighth hole. Although it is short at 100 yards, it features an elevated tee and a triple-tiered green. Coldwater Golf Club also finishes with a signature hole. The beginning tee shot plays to an open fairway over water with a dry wash to the left, while the approach shot is closed-in by another wash to the left and a lake to the right.

In great condition
The overseeding has been done and the course looked and played great.
It was cart paths only but that was to be expected, fairways great- they were just cutting them to the lower height.
Greens slowish, but they said they will be cutting them shorter- faster - as well.
Worst greens in the valley!
Staff as always was great… greens and tees need major work….
Great value for the money overall, but the greens are in very bad shape
I’ve been playing Coldwater for a couple of years now and the staff is great and it is a fun layout but over the last few months something has happened to the greens where some of them are almost unputtable. Hopefully they are working on this to get them back to decent condition. Obviously, I’m not expecting TPC like greens due to the price, but they need to work on them ASAP.
Great value
The course is a great value for the money. Solid layout, very friendly staff. Only downside is the greens could be in better shape. Fairways were good.
Better than expected
Course was in much better condition than when previously played. Fairways in good condition but greens were bumpy otherwise not bad overall.
Coldwater golf course
Fairways in good shape. Greens had two types of grass, darker color was more normal speed and lighter color, matted down much faster. Very inconsistent putting. Rough bad. Very little grass. Mostly crab grass and hard pan dirt.
I Like this course
For a first timer at golf the staff, and other golfers were patient with me. Love for Coldwater
Horrible Greens
The course was in decent shape except the the greens the were absolutely horrible. The green fees were good but you definitely are not paying for the greens! I have played this course before I do not know what happened.
Course is terrible shape
I play this course a lot because I live on it. Worst I’ve seen it in 12 years. The staff at the course is great. Best cart girl in the valley. Bar and restaurant is good and great staff. However they close really early every day. The course is just terrible. Greens are bouncy and dead. Around the greens are terrible. It just gets too much play. And no money put back into it. Don’t play it
Not worth the price
Course conditions are very poor. Greens appear to have two different types of grasses growing. Slowest greens ever. Tee boxes are overgrown. Grass needs cut.
Coldwater once again
I am not sure what is going on with the golf course but the greens are terrible. They are not being maintained well in my opinion.

Course was in good shape. Fairways fine,
Greens show some weathering from the hot summer.
Overall course was in rough shape. Greens were extremely bad. Ball was bouncing all over the place.
Hidden gem
Take the reviews with a grain of salt, this course doesn’t pretend to be a resort or high end course. For the green fee, it was better than I expected.
Rough and desert areas are barren, but it isn’t any different than playing other courses where it’s raked dirt or rocks.
Greens look a little unkempt at first glance, but they did roll pretty pure.
Overall, the reviews don’t do it justice and I will be coming back. Paying half price than other courses, it’s still a round of golf and fun to play.
