Pine Ridge Golf Club

About
Pine Ridge Golf Club was carved from pine forests in central Long Island. Located in Coram, the course's player-friendly layout is a popular choice for all skill levels. The narrow, tree-lined fairways demand accuracy and the greens are fast and can be hard to read but it's not an overly punishing golf course for high handicappers. The risk-reward opportunities will test your course management and strategic thinking skills. If played smartly, you could find yourself with a birdie, particularly on the two driveable par 4s on the front nine. Several bunkers lurk throughout and water comes into play occasionally as well. You'll also face several sharp doglegs, both left and right. In addition to the golf course, Pine Ridge also offers a practice facility that includes a driving range, putting green, and a large grass teeing area.

Worst value muni on long island
This place has the audacity to charge $20 PER PERSON per cart on top of $75 green fees for the worst condition course I’ve played on Long Island. Highly recommend taking your hard earned money to literally any other muni on Long Island.
Cheap But Bad Conditions
Not well maintained. Lots of hard pan, dead spots, bumpy greens, etc. Cheap and plays fast bc nobody is there.
Letting it go
Haven’t played in a couple of years, I am so saddened by the condition of the course. Spotty grass on all the tee boxes, Greens were in such bad condition. Really went down hill. No wonder it was the only time available on the first sunny day,
Should have at least included the cart, feel ripped off, not going back.
Great challenging course!
Challenging course with a couple over-water holes and narrow woods to push everyone’s accuracy skills. Great course overall!
Good for $25
Played today for the first time. It's very close and convenient for me and I use their driving range often. I know it's in rough shape so I've been hesitant to pay $50-$90 to play it. I sniped a deal last night to play for only $25 today so I figured why not? Honestly I had a great time and the front 9 was a lot of fun. The back 9 was challenging as it was but the greens in the back were hammered. Most of them were very very patchy and need a lot of work. I would really like to see them invest some money into this course and get it back into prime shape. I would happily play $50-$60 to walk this course during the week if it was maintained better. I really can't complain for $25 though, I would play here every day for that price since it reflects the conditions.
Fall golf
I enjoyed the layout of the course, but the leaves on the course made it difficult because it was tough to find the balls. They should take care of the course.
Run Down
From the very beginning when we checked in the pro shop employee was too busy with his cell phone to even greet us.
Tee boxes and perimeter of the faieprways in very poor condition.
Pine Ridge Golf Coram
This was one of the worst kept courses I have ever played. The paths were bumpy sand lots. The bunkers were a mess. The tee boxes pathetic. The greens were the only area well maintained. This course should charge $40 per round w/ a cart for the conditions. Throw in the driving range which is a total mess and this is not a course to return too.
