Sun Village Golf Course
About
Sun Village Golf Course, although located within a retirement community, offers a challenging game. This par-3 course has three sets of tee boxes to accommodate most skill levels and abilities. It has plenty of water on the back nine, adding to its difficulty. Although the course has homes surrounding it, there is still a laid back and quiet atmosphere. Since the golf course is aimed towards seniors, it is easy to walk although it does have a winding layout that some golfers get lost on. The Sun Village Golf Course being only for seniors is a misconception though, since the course offers a good game.

Unwelcome
My 6 year old daughter and I were kicked off of this course by an extremely rude and inconsiderate marshall. I called ahead and asked if i could bring my daughter and was told "anyone who can play golf is welcome." This proved to be inaccurate. The marshall walked up and said that we werent allowed to be there because my daughter "couldnt play." We had no pace or disruptive issues, and he said it right in front of her too. So much for growing the game...unbelievably poor attitude and overall venue for golf. Date of play is approximate...
Course was in above condition
Other players were friendly making the round enjoyable
Wish Golf Now was a little more up front
When I booked this it said that this was an 18 hole course, which is technically true. But it didn't mention that this is an executive course with no golf carts. I wish they would have been more upfront and honest about this on the information page. The course was avaerage but green and pretty too.
not family friendly
wanted to play golf with my 7yo son and my dad that’s disabled. paid $120 for 3 ppl to play but got stopped after 9 holes because my dad couldn’t carry the bag anymore so we put them away and was told we can’t carry 2 clubs to Finnish the round then got stopped again and said we couldn’t carry the bag for my 7yo son. thanks for ruining my sons day !!!
Awesome
Great course layout. The walking aspect makes it more enjoyable. Didn’t play well, but, it’s golf. The track made it fun.
HIdden gem
Just a great little executive course with some pretty holes
Boring…
Greens were OK, but fairways mediocre and tee boxes poor. Even for a par three course, a pretty boring layout with almost all the holes between 115 and 125 in length.
Pro shop, starter and Marshall were all very friendly and welcoming.
Amenities
There is a Bar with friendly staff. Nofood or snacks. The golf was fun. Great course to practice Iron play.
