Dunblane New Golf Club
About
Cecil Hutchison and James Braid designed Dunblane New Golf Club. It features excellently manicured greens and splendid vistas in every direction. Measuring nearly 6,000 yards from the back tees, Dunblane is a par 69 golf course. The fifth hole, Panorama, is a delight, with wonderful views of the mountains to the northwest.
The facility also includes a modern, friendly clubhouse.

!st Opportunity.
!st cahnce to play this course and I must admit it is one we will definately go back to and recommend to others we got the perfect all round package, weather great course in good condition despite recent weather in the past few weeks staff were informative culminating in the obligitary steak pie and chips, its local to where we both stay - younger brother - and it was easy to find requiring no directions required so no lost time.
the course has one or two quirks that added to the challenge and the views of the Ochils and the Cairngorms was stunning, PLAY it we will be back.
The driest course I've played in months!
After all the rain we've had recently, I was very pleasantly surprised that the fairways were only on preferred lies, rather than mats. They were very playable too, though the greens were a bit bumpy, particularly later in the round. On the whole though, a very enjoyable round in sunshine for a rare change.
All the staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful, and the catering was good, with generous portions too.
Thoroughly enjoyed the day - many thanks.
Bit of a disappointment
My friends and I played the course yesterday. We paid £30 each for the experience which at a different time of year would have been good value but we felt ripped off given the winter conditions. Only 16 holes were in play and of those 16 only 5 were on summer greens. All of this is fair enough but what isn’t good is the fact we weren’t told this beforehand. If we had been we would have played elsewhere. Compared to some of the value for money elsewhere this was disappointing. For half the price we could have had our choice of 18 hole courses on summer greens. For this reason we all left disappointed.
Course conditions don't reflect green fee
The course is in poor condition even for this time of year. Maybe would recommend at half the green fee but the standard rate is too high. Better condition courses at half the price within 20 minute drive
Hidden gem
Lovely course great condition
Well designed tree lined course
Great big greens wind protect the course
Apart from maybe a lot of par 3s
It’s a great course friendly people and worth a visit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic course with amazing vistas. The course is in amazing condition, the staff in the pro shop were supper helpful and friendly.
The course itself offers a variety of different challenges for golfers of all levels.
All in all a great day, would highly recommend.
Great Course
Had a very enjoyable round of golf. Well worth it and great value for money.
Play it
I booked Dunblane after looking for something near Stirling. Course was in good shape for May, green and lush. Greens are pretty decent, enough slope to make it interesting and some tiered greens too. Some risk reward short par 3’s with serious drop offs around the greens making pinseeking a risk. No real serious blind holes so a first timer finding your way around is easy.
Worth playing more than once for club selection on a couple of dog legs and layup holes. Good layout with some great views.
Beautiful
It’s a beautiful course with beautiful views.
It’s got everything you need in a course to challenge your game…holes with raised greens, plenty of bunkers to make you think about your approach shots, tough par threes and long par five to finish the course. Course is in excellent condition.
Gem
Friendly staff& members. I played on a beautiful day course was in superb condition. I shot 1 over par & found the layout varied with views that will mesmerise . I shall be playing again when in the area.worth the money
Great course in superb condition. Fairways and greens excellent. Great views to be had from most holes. Great staff the pro was so accommodating, can’t wait to go back.
Course in poor condition
All the greens are patchy where the grass has died off the bunker hard packed very little sand fairways covered in diviot holes
Wouldn't play there again till vast improvement areade
Great ciurse
Well worth a visit. Fabulous course in great condition
Most enjoyable
Great course.
Very hilly and in good condition.
The greens had tricky slopes and with 6 par 3 holes, some on plateaux, this made for an exciting game!
Clubhouse staff were very helpful and despite COVID restrictions, there was a full and exciting menu choice.
