I had a very enjoyable round on a nice course, conditions around the course where reasonable although some putting surfaces needed better maintenance, but overall a nice course to play.

Poor greens

The greens were what we would call hairy. Mid September and we played on 3 winter greens. Not the best

Dumbarton "suns" shine

Absolutely stunning weather for a round of golf on a very well kept parkland course. Tee boxes well marked, fairways immaculate. Plenty of well placed traps and hidden gullies, beautiful flat layout and grass very distinctive in level of cuts, greens were well manicured and inviting. Very nice course to play.

Lovely course

Nice flat well laid out course, without any really tricky holes. Ideal for someone who hadn't played for a year. Fairways were nice and springy and greens were very well maintained. Would thoroughly recommend.

Nice flat course

Nice course to play but last time there were a group of two and behind them a group of 4 both playing a medal so unable to play through. Had to skip 3 holes otherwise would have been held up all day. Chap in front of me gave up at the 5th hole as the medal groups too slow. Not sure why the golf now hot deals would put people on the course behind these groups.

Dumbarton parkland course

It's first time I've played the course it's a typical parkland course. Very well looked after by ground staff course was immaculate condition and greens were in fantastic condition. This day I arrived the greens had been fertiliser on them it did not affect the run of the ball as it was damp but it would have been nice to have
been advised prior to booking. But overall I well be playing it again with there deals. We'll done ground staff.

Flat parkland course

Nice easy walk round no hills so good for those less fit. Simple layout with lots of streams and bunkers. Was a bit wet when we played but weather had been awful beforehand.

Course in great nick, especially the greens, fast and true. Very flat course but some good bunker, stream and tree positions made it interesting. Everyone i met was friendly and helpful and a couple of groups let me play thru. Would recommend.

Good course and excellent value

I played this course twice in early September. The course was in very good condition with lush fairways and rough and good paced greens. It’s a fairly tight tree lined course and so accuracy is paramount to play well here. At £20 for the round the course was excellent value for money.

Dumbarton GC

We played Dumbarton on a sunny day in August. The greens and fairways were in great condition. Much improved over the years I was told, in terms of drainage. A relatively easy course to play for seniors, being on the banks of the river Leven, and therefore flat. I will certainly play again.
