Fairways had thick Bermuda, going dormant, but great to play from. Photo submitted by mTTNqYkYWbhBo4Ci2qpK on 12/05/2022

Good job.
I want to compliment the Supt. Ricky and his staff. Experiencing damage from Michael including over 240 trees down they have done a great job of cleaning up and putting the course in tip top playing condition. Much respect to those guys.
Fairways & Greens
I really like this course; it's scenic, challenging & good value for relatively inexpensive golf.
However, if you don't keep your ball in the fairway, it's likely you'll lose it in the rough. Tall grass everywhere does a very good job of hiding (concealing) the golf balls.
The greens are soft and mushy. And, the grass needs to be mowed there, too. In other words, the greens are slow and the grain (break) will definitely affect your putt, especially on a slow roll.
But, it's still fun. The negative conditions I've described are likely the result of so much rain.
Come to Quincy and enjoy yourself. Stay for the lunch buffet - that is a really good deal!
Greens are slow and spongy. You have almost use a hybrid to get the ball to the hole.
Course Layout information
First timer at this location and didn't have the best details on how to play off tee box. I had to see what the golfers in front of me were doing to hit driver or lay up. Course was fine but would like to have seen better layout for first timers
Fun
Great little course has a little bit of everything downhill lies, uphill, dog legs etc...At the time of play greens where slow but still enjoyable, fairways aren’t bad but for the price I can’t complain. Always enjoy playing and will be back!!
Fabulous
Beautiful course. Well kept up. It was hilly which made it challenging.
Hidden Gem
This course is a hidden gem. The changes in elevation and natural beauty of the course is awesome. The staff is friendly and the food is outstanding. Ricky Davis and his crew keep the course in great shape.
Florida stop
Nice little course, everyone was friendly and gave advice when asked. Conditions were cool and windy, due to on coming weather, but still enjoyed ourselves. Some holes been better if played before, but course was easy to navigate. Course conditions were ok considering things were still dormant, in a few weeks, I'm sure it would be a lot nicer.
Maybe a Tallahassee thing
Once the grass starts to take hold and the grees fill in it will be a fun coarse to play. We started behind a 4 some and waited on 17 t boxes. Maybe it is a Tallahassee thing but it would of been nice to spare my wife and I am hours waiting time and let us play through. Can't blame the coarse maybe the locals just don't care.
Not impressed
Staff was very unfriendly and unprofessional as he was eating a honey bun while checking people in. Also had to wait an extra ten minutes to check in because they were not prepared and did not have my online booking ready. Which then when I asked for range balls to try to get warmed up as much as possible the pro shop employee made the remark that I don’t have much time left which I would have had they had everything together. As far as the course goes the layout is really nice but very poorly maintained. The greens are essentially non existent and have no reads at all.
Beautiful layout.
Always a pleasure to play this jewel of a course just a few minutes west of Tallahassee, Good terrain changes and the course is in good shape.
Great Value
Quincy really is a hidden gem around the Tallahassee area. An easy 30 minutes drive on I10 from Tallahassee. Very open, hilly course. Very well taken care of and will look even better once the temps start to rise. If you haven’t played Quincy yet I highly recommend.
Play This Course!
I have three words to say about the Golf Club of Quincy: PLAY THIS COURSE!!! We loved it. Great value and fun. If your drivers under 200 yards – play the Gold Tees.
Wish i played better
Great course had fun will return for more punishment, only lost 2 balls.
Hidden gem
I’ve known about the golf club of Quincy for quite some time but a lot of Tallahassee golfers do not know what they are missing. The greens are consistently some of the best in the area. The design is challenging with lots of elevation changes. Very rarely is it packed and you can usually drive out there, play, and drive back in the same time you can play most Tallahassee courses.
The course is in Quincy, FL so not a Tallahassee thing but understand your frustration. I hate when slow groups don't let faster groups play through.
