Don’t book via Golf Now
Yesterday I arrived with three other players at the allotted time allocated through the Golf Now website of 12:30pm, only to be told by the Edithvale Pro-shop that Golf Now bookings do not sync with the Edithvale Golf course booking, and that I “should never book through Golf Now”. Well how am I meant to know! Edithvale Golf course had to squeeze us in between groups.
Not only this, I had already paid $22 of the $110 booking fee online, only to be told that booking through Edithvale Golf course is cheaper!
My team members were all charged the Edithvale green frees of $21.50 and so was I, which then means I paid twice! $43.50 for a round of 9 holes. I also think the remaining $88 may be charged by golf now as they have my card details.
I am therefore requesting that Golf Now refund the $22 and do not take the $88 out that we have already paid to Edithvale.
I should not be out of pocket because systems do not sync and also I found it very difficult to know how to book via Edithvales website in the first place, and GolfNow came up on my browser and seemed very legitimate, see email booking attached.
