I Recommend This Course
A Pleasant Public Course experience
Played Ringwood on a cold wet October Saturday just out of the Mebourne Covid Lockdown. The course held up admirably - a few puddles on the fairways but otherwise the fairways were lush and the greens smooth. I would imagine that on a sunny summer weekend this place would be rammed.
It’s a pretty straightforward public course layout, but I did quite like the short par 4 9th, where you can hit a 3 wood pretty much from someone’s back yard patio uphill over trees to a reachable green.
The dogleg 14th also requires some thought - not possible to cut the corner due to the trees.
Friendly pro shop attendant was up for a chat and was very good at communicating - I actually only payed for 9 holes but they let me continue for free.
