A typical example of the state of the "greens" Photo submitted by u314161100904 on 12/21/2020
Not recommended
Not recommended till the course is fixed.
The club should not be taking any bookings and if they do take bookings, customers should be made aware of the condition of the green and fairway which was very bad.
Cheap and cheerful
Conditions have deteriorated pretty badly, fairways were patchy and unmown and many of the greens are more dirt than grass. That said, staff are welcoming and warm, tee time availability is excellent even on Saturdays so it's OK for a casual hit.
Available tee times
A tight little course that could do with some maintenance, especially on the greens. Good for beginners as not many water or sand hazards to contend with. Staff were great and it’s a friendly course if you prefer a round over the driving range.
As per other reviews we lost a few balls to crows stealing them.
You get what you pay for
I went for the cheap price and thought it would be quiet which is helpful as a beginner.
Greens are very bad so when you do get par it feels great.
Only one ball taken by a crow . Less around due to the wind.
Overall it’s a rough course but suits me as a beginner on a budget.
Only downside was getting held up on the last hole by a group of 14 playing the same hole. There should be a limit.
Will still go back. Staff are friendly and I know what I’m signing up for
Like playing Golf in your local park
This course epitomises the saying ‘you get what you pay for’. There is no pride taken in the presentation of this course, brown dusty fairways, greens so damaged and bumpy it is pointless even reading puts, carts that are unmaintained and a senseless layout. Speaking to other players on the day who mentioned the course used to be a nice place to play were equally as disappointed with the offering. Will not return and if you are desperate for a round as I was on the day you’d be better off just going to the range.
Absolute Worst Course ive ever been on
Dont even bother trying to play properly the green will ruin your putts and the fairway is horrendous its like nobody looks after the place , theres a reason its the cheapest course in sydney
4wd golf
Very run down rock n roll course. Still had a great time playing but couldn’t treat it too seriously .
The greens are in extremely poor condition.but it was nice to have a stroll in nature and a par or bogey felt like an extreme achievement.
I a funny turn of events crows kept flying down and steeling balls. We lost 5 balls. There must be hundreds of balls in the near by reserve.
Staff forgot to mention the back 9 was closed! Greens seemed to be under maintenance.
Good experience
Good course but the greens need some work.
Layout and course easy to get onto and staff great.
Can’t use the fairway wood drivers
The pro shop staff is so friendly and there is no pressure to rush the game as just few players around. There are bbq facilities but no restaurant. What a pity was I could not use the fairway wood drivers on the patchy fairway. Also some T off green is away well-grown and even my extra-long T was buried.
Under repair maybe
It may be that the course was undergoing repair, but the greens on the first nine were in bad condition. Some tee boxes did not have any grass in the box you need to tee from. The fairways were patchy here and there with some ground patches as well. The second nine was much better though.
Rough and ready
The first thing to note is there were no distinguishable fairways, and also no distinct rough, just mown clumps of varying lengths of grass sticking out of the dirt. And I kept wondering what happened to the greens, severe water restrictions?
