The Biltmore Golf Course
About
The Biltmore Golf Course in Coral Gables sits next to the beautiful hotel, an architectural masterpiece that was modeled after the Giralda Tower in Seville, Spain. Donald Ross designed the course in 1925 and the traditional layout has retained all of its original character. The golf course weaves through a series of canals that used to carry guests along in gondolas. The canals run alongside the lush fairways while towering banyan trees frame the elevated greens. Offering views of the historic hotel from nearly every hole, there are carts available but the golf course is worth the walk. The layout is popular not only for its historic scenery and verdant setting, but also for its playability. Over the years the Biltmore has been host to a number of professional golfers and celebrities ranging from Babe Ruth to Tiger Woods.

Great fairways and greens
Very well maintained course, great layout. Nice landscapes and bridgers, and with the biltmore hotel in the background. It is one of my favorite courses in the Miami area.
Disappointing
We bought the hot deal several days before our round. When we arrived, there was a car show at the course with many of the streets blocked off around the course. We signed in and played the from 9. After stopping for water, we asked the beverage cart staff where the 10th tee is located. He told us the back nine was closed due to the car show. And we would have to play the front nine again. It is very disappointing that we travelled 1000 miles to Florida and picked this course for one of only 4 rounds we were playing during our trip. The course or GolfNow should have made us aware of the conditions and we would have played elsewhere. We are planning on asking for a partial refund. As greens fees were $120 per golfer.
Great golf experience
Hotel is amazing. Staff were exceptional
Range facilities are first rate. Course is beautiful and in good ( not great) conditions. Greens are in excellent condition. Got a deal on Golf now ($89) so
very good value.
Expectations not met
I used to play this course when I was a kid, when it was a muni in the 60s. I was anxious to play it again, now that it's been rehabbed. I finally found a good deal when i was in the area and grabbed it. Unfortunately, the back nine was closed because they were staging a car show for the weekend. Nobody bothered to tell anyone in our group, which is inexplicable to me. We played the front nine twice, but it's not the same. I was pretty disappointed. the course was in nice shape, but I really felt like the golfers were afterthoughts on that da with all the other stuff going on.
Great conditions
Pay no mind to the previous horrible reviews about the golf cart problem. If this guy is concerned about a golf cart he is missing the point about why you go to a golf course.
The course is well-maintained and good pace of play.
GOLF CARTS
2nd week in a row got golfcart with broken steering...was told it would be exchanged ASAP...NEVER WAS EXCHANGED...HORRIBLE SQUEAKING SOUND ,WHOLE DAY...YOU KNOW YOUR INVENTORY...IM SURE IM NOT 1ST....I MOST LIKELY WILL NOT RETURN TO THIS COURSE....NOT HAPPY @ ALL, 2 WEEKS IN A ROW ....HAD CLIENTWITH ME BOTH TIMES...TOTALLY RIDICULOUS...THE CART IS MAIN COMPONENT OF A GREAT ROUND....DEFINITELY NOT HAPPY WITH BILTMORE OR TEE TIMES...I WONT BE RENEWING MY MEMBERSHIP
Pointless Tee Time
The biltmore posted a tee time of 4:45 for 9 holes. I was a single that joined a 3 some and we move fairly quick and by the time we reached the 6th hole, the ranger said we would only have time for 2 holes. And that point I figured you should just let us finish the 9 and as we approached the green and said “Actually, you can only the this next hole”. What is the point of posting that tee time if you won’t let your guest finish? Won’t come back because it was a waste of money. I rather they not post a tee time if they won’t let you finish.
Great course
Took my kids here to play and we got paired with another guy who was awesome. Course was in a great shape. Good rate of play. Just under 4 hours for 18.
Great Value for Your Money!!
Greens were in great shape as well as the fairways. One of my favorite courses in the Miami area.
