Country Course
The course was interesting and well laid out. Whilst the greens looked healthy and well tended, they were not quick. It had been raining and this might be part of the issue? I was very pleased with our visit overall and would recommend it to others.
Excellent
A nice course. Very different styles from front 9 and back 9. Tight on the back 9 but a nice challenge. Very few people out on the Sunday afternoon we went out so was fab.
Great but
A bit wet. Wouldn’t play here if it’s rained a lot. Greens were two paced. Other than that great course - good value.
Very enjoyable
First time myself and a friend played the course
Very enjoyable
Thinking of joining
Playing again Saturday
Nice day
Nice day hole in one hole six course good greens where a little slow
Good course and extremely friendly pro
When we arrived the gentleman working in the pro shop was fantastic. He was extremely welcoming and friendly and even had us signed up for a carvery at the end of our round which we looked forward to.
Course was a little wet under foot even though it was an incredibly hot weekend and we could see it was still recovering from the effects of a wet winter. The other slight downside was the daisy's; the fairways and rough had not been sprayed so they were everywhere, making it extremely difficult to locate our balls. Greens were receptive and played nicely.
When we finished our round we were informed by the bar staff (nowhere near as friendly as the pro was earlier) that we were too late for the carvery and apparently it had stopped hours before which made us question why we were offered it in the first place. Anyway this was only a slight hiccup in what was otherwise a thoroughly enjoyable visit.
