Lovely views and staff. Not so good course though.

Pro shop staff and those working at the course were great. Others golfers were very welcoming to. It is a real shame the course was in poor condition. I started on the back nine with no flag in the pin, making it tricky to say the least. Tee boxes in poor condition. Fairways were OK. But again greens were very inconsistent, some good, some in need of some tlc. Course conditions very inconsistent.

Great little course.

First time playing tredegar park and it didn't disappoint lovely wide fairways, some quirky holes and greens in really good condition will certainly be returning and recommending to my friends

Lovely course

1st time playing Tredegar Park. Interesting course. Good variety of Par 3/4/5s. Quite hilly in places so it was a good long walk and you certainly had to think your way around. Greens and tees could have been cut a little shorter but all other aspects were really well maintained. Good food afterwards. Really good value for £20.

Excellent course, friendly people, problems with 10th

A fantastic course, very well maintained, quality greens, testing but not overly challenging, if it’s your first time it’s easy to navigate from green to the next tee. I was a 1 ball and the older guys let me play through, very respectful. Clubhouse has nice staff. Parking is excellent. Pro shop is medium size but has what you’d expect.
My only issue was that the distance from 9th green to 10th tee is a decent walk and like many courses if someone only wants to play 9holes they can. The walk was 400-500m. This isn’t the problem. The problem comes when you think that there isn’t anyone playing in front and because of the 10th the tee off goes into a large ditch that you can’t see into. I played my shot thinking that no one was on the 10th, because there wasn’t on the 9th. I didn’t see a tee off or people walking down the fairway. Naturally thinking it was clear. I then got a shout. There was a 3 ball now in front.
There should be a easier way to let people know that someone could be down the ditch. Either ban people playing off the 10th as their 1st tee. Or have a white board or something to write down when you’ve played the tee.
If this hadn’t have happened then I’d have given 5 stars. But it is a bit of an issue.
