Lovely course
Very enjoyable round. Staff very friendly. Course was very quiet. Challenging on times, but nice to have some forgiving holes.
Nice course but hole maps needed!!
Despite the awful recent weather the greens and general conditions were very good. Shame about the temp green on 18 and sinkhole on 16. Really nice bar and pro shop area too. One thing that is desparately needed is hole layout maps at each tee. A few holes were total guesswork as to where to aim which for a non regular at this course was a struggle. Would definitely return though.
Bryn meadows
Great course played well considering the amount of rain over the last month. Wet in places but still very playable. Greens were excellent.
Four young boys in front of us very slow play to the point we played though and so did a few others also 5 tempry greens which for the price was steep
Bryn meadows
Great condition considering the recent rain will definitely play again very good winter course
Usually very good
Have played this course 3 times now. In the summer it was great. However after a spell of wet weather we did find the conditions a little boggy this time, but that’s part of winter golf.
All the holes were teed off mats and 4 of the greens were out of action and replaced with fairway greens. We felt the price paid (£35pp) didn’t fairly reflect the course conditions on this occasion. It’s a nice layout and there’s a decent restaurant to sit down in after the round to enjoy a meal.
Great course
Great course really good layout in amazing condition for the time of year. Ground conditions very good considering how much rain we'd had.
Can't wait to return.
Greens in awful condition. Slow play yet again as too many 4 and 5 balls! on the course. Yet again players ahead do not understand basic golf etiquet
Poor greens and slow play. No understand of etiquette by players on the course. Faster players not let through ( 3 rd time this has happened at this course).
Very good golf course
The course was in good condition and very well maintained except the greens which were scarified not ideal.
The play was slow due to a completion.
Overall a very good golf course. I recommend it to anyone.
Good value course
This is second time playing here friendly staff and course in great condition enjoyed it first time and this time definitely be back
Such a friendly club
We have played Bryn a few times, and always feel more than welcome in the pro-shop, clubhouse and hotel. It’s not the longest course but you will need to plot your way around. Having said that, there are a few places where you can launch into tee shot, but make sure you put it in the right place. I think they make the best use of the space they have and with a couple of quirky holes it is a good test of golf.
Nice course to play
First time we played here staff was very friendly and course was in good condition well sign posted we all enjoyed it and will be back club house nice to chill after game have a nice beer and watch players finishing 18 th hole
Almost perfect
Overall excellent experience at this fine club. The staff were very helpful especially informative as this was our first visit. The majority of holes were in great condition, but one or two fairways seemed a little overlooked and it was hard to differentiate with the first cut. But that's minimal. Without a golf GPS app I would have struggled to find my way to several tees, the signage wasn't super clear to a first time visitor. However the course is beautifully laid out and spacious enough so that with a 4 ball in front and 2 behind we didn't cross paths with anyone else apart from the first tee. A nice 3 layer green / chip area is located right by the first tee which was helpful but nothing for long range practise. There was a short par 3 course which was offered as a warm up, however for me a driving range right next to the clubhouse is always preferential for my warm up routine. This addition, in my view, would have made the visit perfect. But again a small gripe on an overall delightful course. I would recommend walking this it's a pleasant walk and not too taxing.
