Great course
Perfect course as I'm a beginner, not lots of hazards and pretty short.
Decent course, Better ones out there though.
Nice little tricky course. Greens in lovely condition some nice holes. Just wish there was one or two more par fives on here. Too many short par fours. Decent course to be fair, will definitely play here again. £25 a round, think there is better course about for that price.
Quality
Lovely course for a beginner, short with not many dangers.
Lovely course - challenging!
I played this course for the first time. It was a really friendly place and i ended up joining two members. The course is a tricky shorter layout so may not favour the big hitters.
But as you go around, the course opens up and there is some good bunker positioning! The only very slightly small downside is it was still mats for tees. This is due to a lot of work being done to improve the tees. I think when they open it will be nice to revisit!
A really nice course and I hope to go back soon!
Course partly closed
We were told upon checking in that 3 holes were closed and we would be playing off winter mats. This was very disappointing to be made aware of this at this stage as the weather was dry. The open holes were in great conditions, as were the tee boxes that we were unable to use.
Great Course with perfect views
Course was excellent, great condition on the greens and fairways. Difficult back 9 for sure! The views over Cardiff were the best I have seen
Little Gem
Beautiful mature course on the outskirts of Cardiff
The course was well presented and in good condition
The greens are challenging and well maintained
Off the course all staff were very friendly and welcoming
All Covid safety measures are in place and adhered to
Well worth a visit
Lovely club, small greens and challenging
After some initial confusion (almost forced to pay twice), I managed to get out and appreciate the condition of the course.
Although the initial holes are close to each other, the course is very well looked after and provided a challenging course to play for the first time.
The greens are tough to hit and the greens roll straight and true. On a number of the holes, you are able to get a clear view of Cardiff to the sea.
The course needed a little navigation and could be assisted by showing where to aim at each tee box to improve the experience. (I was unsure where to aim at the second hole and got annoyed after I hit the wrong fairway).
Lovely club set-up and is in great condition.
Great course and extremely friendly staff and members
The professional was extremely friendly and helpful. I ended up playing with a member who’s friends couldn’t make it. Was very friendly and great to have some members tips although it didn’t help my score. Looking forward to going back.

Worth a visit!
Nice course, kept in very good condition. Members and pro very friendly. I will definitely play this course again.
Great experience
Our first time at this parkland course. Good value for a summer Sunday mid-morning. Bonus of great views of the Channel at times. While not the most imaginative ever, restricted views and some fairly steep ups and downs enhance the challenge on this shortish 18 holer which does get easier as the round progresses. First 9 features a few narrow passages to greens. Back 9 seems to have more uphills than downs, so today I know I've had a walk. The only slight issue was that for the uninitiated it wasn't always easy to find the next tee. Friendly staff, booking easy made this a highly-recommended experience, and we'll definitely come again..
Great course
Really enjoyed my round of golf. The course and greens were in excellent condition and the staff were very helpful.
Slightly shorter holes, however, it was definitely a challenging course to play. Will be visiting again.
Short yet demanding
A relatively short course but the lack of length off the tee is more than protected by the greens. Some tucked away and others with multiple tiers. A good short game is required to shoot a good score here.
Gem of a course in Cardiff
This course has only just been added to teeofftimes and you should definitely check it out. Just on the outskirts of Cardiff, it is really easy to get to and gives amazing views over Cardiff and the Channel as you play your round. Adrian in the Pro shop is very friendly and the warm welcome continues after the golf. The course whilst not long is a real challenge and the greens are superb.
