The Morgan Hill Golf Course in Easton has a somewhat misleading name since you'll find more than just hills on this challenging course. Be prepared to face a variety of elevation changes ranging from subtle to dramatic. The golf course has a dramatic design that is carved into a hillside, which makes it a hard course to walk but one that is visually interesting and tough to play. It may not be a layout for the faint of heart but the scenery alone is enough to provide enjoyment. Golfers can enjoy scenic views of the river, but scenic respite is the only break you'll get. There is hardly an even lie to be found and the severely undulating greens will test even the most seasoned golfers. Also, be prepared for a slew of blind shots at Morgan Hill Golf Course.

Worst customer service

Second time playing in 2 weeks. 2 pm tee time1st time, gentleman in club house said " really busy, good for us, bad for you. There are no carts available, and you have 2 groups waiting in front of you." (Started our round 25 minutes late). "And oh, BTW. "Carts have to be in at 6pm."
Mind you, sun set at 6:05pm. Still usually 20 minutes of light after sunset. Natually didn't get done. 10 min. between tee times.
Today 2:20 pm tee time. Started on time but was told by pro at desk in club house (same gentleman as 2 weeks ago.) 5.5 hour round. We'd be lucky to get 13 holes done.
Also he informed us they are so busy now they are not going to have fall rates at this time. Way to stick it to your customers. 2 hour drive to course for us. Usually played about 6 times a year. We won't be back anytime soon. It's all about the $$ at this course, not the customer. Which is a shame, because it's a great layout.

Best Views and Friendliest staff

Breathtakingly gorgeous course. Well worth the drive to get there Course was in great condition and pace of play was excellent at the time we were there. But if you dont like hills, you would not like this course. It was very challenging (between the hills, sand traps, and rolling greens). Lots of blind shots. I will definitely return very soon now that Iknow what to expect at each hole.
Every person we encountered could not have been friendlier. Other than the views, this would be the other top take away - the friendly staff and even just people passing by would stop and ask if you were enjoying your day.
Ate dinner at the restaurant and that was also excellent with great views. It was a great day!

A test of shot making, maybe

First, great views of the Easton area and one hole with a great view of the Delaware River. I saw those too, but mostly I saw a lot of rough. 3" tall, and covering the ball 50%. Stay in the fairway even if it requires an iron on the tee, the penalty is quite high most places.

As a first time player, not only didn't I know where to go on blind holes (tee and greens!!) but also with dramatic changes in elevation on EVERY HOLE but maybe 1,2, and 3, you are not quite sure what to hit to an elevated or depressed green.

I played significantly over my handicap, including lost balls and one OB from hitting through the fairway on one hold - you just don't know how far away some of these hazards are.

Traps need sand and just maintenance; at least rake the rocks out. That would be my only complaint about conditions.

The layout is just tough the first time even though the course is not 'long' it plays long because of uphill drives that take 20-40 yards off. Also the entire foursome will be required to find balls in the deep rough; good penalty area but slows down play when you can't see the driving area rough from the tee! Might be ok if you could see balls land.

Even in a cart you will get great exercise; walking is unthinkable, though that is my preference.

Everyone was wonderful, and I'd go back. Hopefully before I forget the holes. OH, get the little booklet with a map from the starter.

CUT THE GREENS !!!!!!!!!!!!

RIPPED OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Drove 1:15 minutes to play this course and you show up and the greens aren't cut. Its called a greens fee for a reason and when you do NOTHING to the greens you are ripping me off. How are you supposed to putt with all the dew on the greens? They couldn't even sweep the dew off Every putt is a different speed depending on the moisture on the green. Forget about getting a long putt to the hole, terrible experience.

I WILL NEVER PLAY THIS COURSE AGAIN (and I like it), COMPLETE AND TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME. Play a course where they actually care about their customers.

Much better this time

Course is in much better shape that 2020. Hilly, blind shots make it challenging. Its about a 45 minute drive for us but we have played there three times. Course is challenging, views are great, the bar/restaurant is a great place to eat after your round.
