Quintero Golf Club
About
Located in the desert just north of Phoenix and Scottsdale, the golf course at Quintero Golf Club is a challenge but with up to as many as nine tees per hole, it can accommodate golfers of all different abilities and handicaps. The rolling, desert terrain of the course features dramatic elevation changes for interesting play. The golf course's design has wide fairways and plenty of water hazards and sand bunkers. The most difficult hole is the par-5 8th hole, which plays uphill with three large bunkers alongside the right side of the lay-up area. Another difficult but noteworthy hole is Quintero Golf Club's third, which has a scenic lake to the left that sometimes tricks golfers into playing close to it with their tee shot for an easier second shot to the green.

Quentero golf
The course is beautiful and scenic. The course is challenging--but is worth the challenge. I would play this course everyday if I could. The greens are very fast--pro quality. Fairways are well maintained and are fast. Great golf here!
Disappointing Experience
Our foursome was in town for a golf trip and we are avid golfers and were blown away with the beauty of this course. The layout along with the shape of the fairways and greens were just awesome. Everyone in the clubhouse along with the starters were very nice. We started on time and was keeping pace with the group in front only waiting a little. We waited on the picturesque #6 for at least 10 minutes before we could hit. Going to #7 we started getting hassled by marshals saying our pace of play wasn't acceptable and we should consider skipping holes to allow the groups behind us to finish. We never saw anyone behind us all day. The older gray headed marshal also needs to learn some tact because he was a real piece of work. The marshals totally ruined what would have been a fantastic day. I can't recommend this course for paying almost $400 and getting rushed for no reason. We finished almost an hour before dark and no groups were ever spotted playing behind us. I've never been treated like this and won't be back.
excellent golf course
Great course, very interesting and challenging. Beautiful views and the course was in awesome shape.
A Must Play if You Can Afford It
A true gem though you’ll need to drive a while to get there. Awesome test of golf with spectacular par threes. Fairways are generous but many elevated greens with tricky slopes and speed make scoring difficult. Every hole is unique and there are definitely some great photo ops. If you have the means it should be played as it is one of the best in the area. Troon card can save you some money. Did not have my best day, but I’ll probably need to take another shot at this tough course next year.
Fun and scenic golf course
A must play, course was in surperb condition. Only criticism is the pace of play needs improvement.
Beautiful challenging course
This course is in great condition. The greens are very firm and fast. They are very hard to make a putt on. The breaks are subtle and if you miss by a little you can roll a long ways away. The course is picturesque. You need your A game. Once we moved up to the shorter tees it was easier and more fun to play. We got a discount. I wouldn't pay full price to play there.
Quintero - Nice Experience
Worth the drive for the experience of playing a quality golf course without homes and suburbia around you. It is au naturale.
Gorgeous layout!
Course was well maintained and great layout! You are out in the desert with all natural surroundings. Greens were fast but true.
Only negative was the sand traps were more stone than sand. I was in a lot of them!
Great course layout
Was really looking forward to playing the course. When we arrived we were told that they were delayed by 90 minutes due to frost. Told us they sent out emails which was a bold face lie. 10 other people we asked didn’t get an email either.
Made no attempt to accommodate us for another day. The course was a little beat up. Greens and Tee boxes were bare in spots. Bunkers had stones in them.
So overall I was disappointed when paying the rates we did.
Great Experience
I had a. wonderful experience. My son convinced me that we should play this course. Th price we were able to book was reasonable. It was extra special to play with my son.
Sand traps
If you’re gonna have that many sand traps out there put some real sand in them. There’s a bunch of stone in the bunkers.
The Most Superb Golf Course in the US
This course is probably the countries most beautiful course. Every tee is positioned to be its own challenge. The Fairways are forgiving and beautifully curated. You will never see greens like this anywhere else. Driving from hole to hole on the cart is also one of the most beautiful experiences you can have. This course will challenge distance as well as accuracy for players, who play traditional black blue and white tees. This course is also extremely forgiving and fun for women and senior players. You should also consider family Golf as there are specific teams position for families as well we didn’t see any families there considering the price point, but Wellworth it if you can amenities and services are beyond amazing
Breathtaking
What can I say that hasn't already been said about this masterpiece. The amount of effort and creativity that had to go into the creation of this place should be a documentary. Greens were running 11+ . The only blemish was the condition of the bunkers. It was only so noticeable because everything else was so perfect.
