West at Orangebrook Country Club

It was difficult to putt being bumpy and running over dirt. Big patches with no grass. West course is in better conditions even though the grass on the greens is too long and ball is very slow

A very nice layout but the course is in bad shape!! From the tee boxes to the greens there is work required to make the course a very enjoyable place to play!! Sure hope the course gets the attention it deserves!!

It was pretty windy so that made play more challenging. Greens were good. We had a good pace of play
Harldy got kept back. Played the West Course which is shorter than the East Course. I think this course is the easier of the two. I think it was decent for the price. Paid around 40 dollars per person

Was a fair course much better than when I played it about 3 years ago. The greens where a little rough,but rolled fair,fairways where good

This course has an extremely helpful and welcoming staff. The gal running the restaurant was awesome and cranked out some food for us, as we had traveled from Orlando and didn’t have time to stop before our tee time. The course is wide open with lots of room if you hit a shot off-line. Unfortunately, the greens have multiple types of grass growing on them, which is problematic when putting.
You can see that this was once a great course, but not enough money has been committed to keep it that way, so it feels like its best days are gone. Still, I’m glad my wife and I had the chance to play here.

Hello, we booked a tee time for two a few days ago for yesterday. I was so relaxed, that at the time of booking i didn‘t look at the wheater forecast. i booked on web on the page of Teeoff. I paid the green fees all in advance. But yesterday it was raining very intensive. So i phoned and i asked if i can postpone my tee times to another day. the lady said i can only handle everything with the provider through whom i booked. i said i want no money back, i just ask if i can postpone my playing day. Nothing to do. So we drove 40 min to the course, checked in, took the golfcar, drove until the first tee, and without doing only one single golfshut, we resigned and turned back because rain was getting more intense. It seems to me that in such a case just asking for a new tee time shouldn’t be a problem for such a golf course. Anyway, taking care of a customer seems different to me. tomorrow we have another tee time. Maybe the club con manage to correct what happened?

The layout is quite good with sufficiently long par 4's and par 5's. I played this a week before and the greens were very high. I was hoping that a week later, the greens would be mowed and rolled, but not the case. The greens are so high that a normal golfer cannot hammer a putt hard enough to get it to the hole without a full backswing.
