The Golf Club of Jupiter
About
Founded in 1940, the Golf Club of Jupiter is one of the town's oldest golf clubs. It is a local favorite that is still a pretty well kept secret from the rest of the state. It is not the most challenging layout that low handicappers will ever encounter, but it is a quick, playable round with excellent service and a friendly atmosphere. There are some water hazards that come into play, but nothing too demanding, and there are a few strategically placed bunkers throughout. The front nine is slightly shorter and less challenging than the back nine but overall, beginners would not feel overwhelmed. In addition to the course, the Golf Club of Jupiter also has a driving range where they use floating balls into a lake.

Always a pleasant experience
I've been playing here for 20 years. The course is a lot of fun, you can make birdies if you keep it in play. The par 5's are definately "gettable" if you're accurate from the tee box. Hole #9 has two greens; sometimes the left green is in play, other times it's the right. The right is definately the better hole. The staff is great; Chuck, who works outside is excellent. The only reason I gave 4 stars for conditions is the greens were recently aerated. You will enjoy your round here.
Average
Friendly staff, enjoyable course. Yardage can be difficult to judge as few fairway markers and difficult to see some of them. Price is not great for level of course, but pace of play was very good.
I'm now A REGULAR
My buds and I have made this a regular weekly play. The course drains well and is always in good playing conditions. Nothing other than standard restrictions (90 degrees, cart path on 3s, etc.). Food is great and food specials are a great value. Greens and good, not great but always, always consistent and predictable. Narrow fairways and challenging par 5s make this an excellent duffers course. Best "Bang-for-the-Buck" in the area.
A fun challenge ...
There's a real rural small town feel to this semi-private golf club in a community surrounded by some of the most pristine exclusive clubs on the planet.
This is not the most beautiful place I've played, the greens are slow and the fairways are narrow. But, it's become one of my favorite places to play. The staff is extremely friendly.
Summer rate ... $30
We had a 10:00 start time and were finished at 12:35. (I played it earlier in the week with a 7:45 start and was finished in less than two and a half hours).
The restaurant serves great food and the bar seems to be a real locals hangout ... almost like Cheers.
Overall, charm wins out"
Good golf course
This course is challenging and fun. Staff is good. Food is fantastic and food and beverage staff the best service.
Expensive for 9 hole play
Course does not offer a fair price for 9 holes. I asked the owner if he would consider reducing the rate for handicapped people. He said no because he gets asked that a lot and if he did it it would be a "disaster" for him. I think not trying to work with your clients is a "business disaster".
Confusing greens setup
We played a fee holes where we could see multiple flag sticks and it was hard to tell what green we were aiming for. On 2 separate holes we ended up teeing off in the direction of what we found out to be the incorrect green.
Harder than you think it is
The greens are in great shape and the fairways well maintained. Each hole seems to have a a different type of difficulty so a good focus on the potential risk areas is necessary to score well. You can get into trouble in a hurry if you do not hit the fairway.
not worth it
Although I played great the course was in poor condition
Needs Work
Its a nice course, but needs work. Greens are chewed up, they dont have sand traps they have dirt traps. It's a conveinant course since im 2 blocks away from it. in a pinch i'll play here.
friendly and fun
My husband and really like this course and the friendly staff. well maintained
Course in very good condition
This course is de finitely on my list to play in the future.
Disappointed
At first I thought this was a par 3 course as the front 9 had too many par 3's. The back only had 2 so it is just a short course. Needs work on many holes. For this time of year price was high, quality was fair. Golf range very weak putting green very nice.
Great golf
Been there a couple of time. Very friendly, people are nice and great golf.
hacker
Course needs weed fertilizer. Weeds are out of control.
nice course quick play in the am.
I liked this course. The greens are in good shape. Course is short. Good course for rusty player. 2some and we played in 3 hours early am. The price could be a little lower for comparable courses but reasonable. If you are a long hitter it may be the course for you.
This course has good features
Good course ..Appropriate water hazards. The sand traps are well paced
Not a long course, but challenging.
Had the first tee time of the day 7:07 am. Played as a solo. Finished in 2:38. At 9:45 a.m. Would have been faster but had to wait on some holes for the ground keepers to roll the greens and change the pins. Do not need driver on many holes but if you can hit it straight you will leave yourself a pitch on your second. Greens are not that undulating but are in decent shape. Overall a good fun course. Btw there driving range was very unique, you get to hit practice balls at small islands with flag sticks, that are in the middle of a lake. Pretty cool.
