Conveniently located less than 20 minutes from Walt Disney World, Kissimmee Golf Club provides a pleasant escape for tourists looking for an affordable round of golf. Although it is situated near several tourist attractions, the golf course is also a favorite among local golfers. The course dates back to the early 1940's, but 18 holes were officially established in 1962 and since then, the tees and greens have been updated to provide better putting surfaces and more challenges. In addition to the golf course, Kissimmee Golf Club offers practice facilities for golfers to use, including one of the largest grass driving ranges in the country.

My New Golf Home
This was the third time I've played this course. I'm a Hunters Creek resident, so I usually play Hunters Creek. I was really just looking for a better deal on golf on a Sunday, and got one here, and played it again.
Let me start by saying that everyone's cup of tea is different. There are some things about this course that might irk some people, but to me, it makes it unique and special.
For starters, it's next to a small airport, and there is plenty of traffic taking off and landing pretty much all the time. That might rub some people the wrong way, but I get a COMPLETE kick out of it, as I am a huge airplane buff. After you take a few swings, you really get used to the noise...or at least I do. The fairways are a little beat up at the moment, but in early March's dry weather, I expect that, really. The tee boxes and greens are in GREAT shape, and once I adjusted to the speed of the greens, my putts were pretty true. There are some challenging holes, if you're looking for that, and it has its share of easier ones, too. My only complaint is a personal one, but some of the fairways run adjacent to other fairways, so you kinda have to keep your head on a swivel for stray balls from other golfers, but it's a minor thing.
If you're a nature guru, there is PLENTY of it, as I saw three gator on this particular day, along with some turtles and waterfowl.
I saw a drink cart lady when I was in the clubhouse, but I never saw her when I was playing. I assume she does get out there from time to time, though.
Overall, this course has become my new favorite public type course. Great value for the money.
needs work
Greens are terrible in spite of aeration. Tee boxes have no grass. I am hoping the rain this week helps.
Good value for money
Weather forecast was poor so decided on price this would be a perfect course to play. Although course overall could have been in better condition enjoyed our round and found it to be good value for money
Course in pretty rough conditions although greens are slowly getting better
course in awful condition
I have played this course many times before. It should have been a clue to the conditions when we walked in and had to check in at the restaurant. At 8Am there were 2 cars in the lot. The tee boxes had no grass on them. the fairways had very little grass and the greens had been aerated and had not been mowed in many days. I really do not believe the aeration will help the greens. They are too far gone. I did not go back in the clubhouse because I probably would have demanded out monies back.
Dry
The dry weather is impacting the grass. The tee boxes and the greens are feeling the affects of the dry weather. Greens are bumpy with some weed growth. Fairways are pretty good. Overall course conditions are average and still playable.
I like the course but the Greene are in bad shape. I went during the month of December and greens were fine.No comprende
Just bad all around.
I have played this course over the past years and found that the course has consistently gone down hill. First of all the saving grace on this course were the greens which used to be in top condition, now as of 4/20/2018, they are the worst I have ever seen. There wasn't a single hole that was in top notch condition. They were burned, bare batches, diseased grass, and even small holes. I think the course has new owners who are sucking the life out of the course.
The practice green is even worse. The price should tell you something. It was $17.00. I wonder why?
Play golf
Greens are go south fast need tlc now. Fairways ok but following greens. Intervention needed to stop this course from going beyond help. Rain in Florida does miraculous things but it can’t take the weeds out
compact course
This course is compact and easy to play.
Occassion disruption from aircraft landing or taking off.
The main problem here, is the very poor state of the course. The fairways leave a lot to be desired and the greens are in a terrible state.
Not sure if that have irrigation system around the course, but the course really needs some tender loving care. It has really gone down over the past 3 years I have played here.
Poor faiurways
The course needs some tender care. The fairways are dirt brown and like cement. The traps are concrete.
Very disappointed.
This course has seen better days
It was disappointing on many levels. The greens and tee boxes were dreadful. The fairways have definitely been better years ago. It actually feels like the course is just holding on until a developer comes along. Our golf cart died on the fourth hole but we were given another one which did last for the entire game. If this course charged $15 it Might be a fair price.
Sad to witness such an incredible decline on every level.
Huge Dossapointment
On the day I was scheduled to play, a thunderstorm rolled in, and only got to play 3 holes, before O had to seek cover. I tridd to get it cancelled, but it was too late, because the scheduled time had begun. Needless to be said, I wasted my time, and money. Asidefrom the weather, the course was less than desirable. Would not recommed to anyone!
Poor course
The course is well set out and has some interesting features. Sadly, the course is in very poor condition and is in need of much care and attention.
Pace of play was good.
Fairways were ok.
Greens were not good.
