I had played this course many times in previous years, but I never had seen it in this kind of shape. Photo submitted by photorick1010 on 07/25/2014

The only thing worth making a positive comment on was on for this round was the beer girl. Photo submitted by photorick1010 on 07/25/2014
Nice challenge
Love the layout of water on the course , gives us a nice challenge. Some of the greens are being repaired, but still playable. Will be back next week!
Needs help badly.
I’ve played here since the Arrowhead days. This course is in need of some serious care. The greens are so patchy and bare in spots with the exception of #10. I have always loved the back nine layout but the conditions are not ideal. The tee boxes have been under repair for months and seems like no effort has been taken to move forward with the repairs. Please get something in the works to fix up this nice local course. I’d hate to see another Broward course close
Very poor condition in a nice area
I used to bring money Sons to this course quite a few years ago, and it is since changed names and owners from Arrowhead to the current name of Davey Golf Club. I should have known when I stepped on the putting green and saw the terrible condition that the course itself mirrored that. The fairways were dried up, obviously no sprinkler system being used, but the worst were the greens themselves. They were filled with many patches of weeds and dark grass and were in terrible condition. The only highlight were the friendliness of the starter, card girl, and the two people we were paired with. I would definitely not recommend this especially for the price of $60 for the round, which is excessive for a course in this condition.
Davie course
Could be great course.
Very challenging, water on every hole.Very hard course to play.
Course not maintained, faraway in pure condition and greens very hard to putt from bad ,not cut grass.
Staff very friendly.
Davie course
Could be very interesting and great course.
Cours is very hard ,very challenging to play.
Lots of water all over.Fairway needs lots of work and greens are mostly bad grass ,patting is not possible .
Very despondent.
Terrible Greens. Not recommended
The greens were terrible. Multiple types of grass growing on 17/18 greens. Extremely disappointing. Definitely not worth the $50 each that we paid to play.
Made for a very frustrating round. The only green in any shape was number 10. It was in good shape. The others.. forget it.
Played a number of years ago and made for a decent round. Not so much any more.
Will not play again or recommend.
Really Enjoyed Course
After seeing some reviews we didn’t know what to expect but thoroughly enjoyed the course. There is water on every hole and if we play again we may play some shots differently but the water didn’t make the course impossible to play. Thought the layout was really cool. Fairways were in pretty good shape. Only downside was that greens were a little shaggy. Pro Shop gentleman was extremely nice and loved that they provide you a hole by hole course map. Super helpful even with our GPS. We were a twosome but after the foursome ahead of us let us play thru we moved very well and finished in 3 1/2 hours. Our twosome was compromised of a man and woman. Female golfer played off bronze tees which were challenging but fair and able to clear water pretty easily. There are no real off site amenities but we didn’t need anything as we planned to leave right after our play was completed. Would play again if back in town. And a great value especially for early morning Florida prices in peak season.
