Timacuan Golf Club

I use to play this course frequently when I lived in Lk Mary. And it been a few years..
Thought I'd try it again since playing last it was in such amazing shape.
This time: Improvement in areas needed

Some Tee boxes were mostly dirt so we better attention. Though the greens were in good shape.

Overall: the course was ok.

My friend and I made the most of it and enjoyed the day.
To offer $50 to play this course in this condition is a bit much.
I would recommend if the price actually reflected the noted improvements. Look, its not a bad course just needs improvements in certain areas. .

Unfortunately, don't think we'll be returning.

Love the layout staff was great just need to get some rain so the grass will grow when they overseed the course

The course is in good shape. I said good but not great. For the amount you pay the course is worth a visit. Greens were decent....rolling smoothly.

No Starter, no Marshall and over-booked with foursomes that could not play golf. The fairways were nothing but dirt and hardpan. The course itself almost looked abandoned. It took 90minutes for 5 holes (would've been close to 3 hours for 9 holes or a 6 hour round).

I could never recommend Timacuan Golf Course.

I love this course but it seems obvious that there is a lack of detail to the grass. Maybe they are trying the dormant winter look but there seems to be more going wrong with weeds and dirt patches all over the place.

Layout interesting and lots of strategic challenges

Fairways and Greens should have been in better condition. Too many tight lies which should have been easy wedge shots.

This course is not for beginners. Greens were excellent and I enjoyed the golf course a lot.

Great layout, and really good challenge of golf for a player of my standard. Greens, fairways and tee boxes all in good condition. Very enjoyable and will play again.

Showed up right on time for our tee time but had to wait 20 minutes for a cart. Staff were dismissive and not understanding. We watched as he argued with one of their members about changing their tee time because they didn’t have enough carts. We only got in 15 of 18 holes because of the late start. I will highly recommend you choose a different course as I will never go back.

Fairways and tee boxes were a little thin in the grass department! Hitting off of dirt sometimes! The greens very fast and hard to hold with your shots.

Course layout is good. Greens were poor with most greens with lots of dirt patches. Course has lost its value. Sad to say what I paid with so many other choices. Dissatisfied and wanted to share this course with friends. Can not.

The clubhouse and staff were very good. Course conditions were horrible. Little too no grass on fairways or greens. Some greens looked like they were painted green. Played here over the past 4-5 years in Feb. The conditions this time has me voting no to playing here again. Someone needs to get the grounds crew motivated or fired.

Good layout. Some holes were wide open and some needed very accurate ball placements. Consider using long hybrid or 3 wood on some drives. Pace of play was good (4 hours for average golfers)!
