Killian Greens Golf Club
About
Popular among locals, the course at Killian Greens Golf Club is affordable and challenging. The golf course is quite narrow and built on flat terrain, making it easy to walk. Although there is little elevation change, the greens are sloped and firm. The fairways are narrow and there are sand bunkers situated throughout the course. Canals and lakes create water hazards that come into play on 14 holes. The course features three sets of tees to adapt the game to a variety of different skill levels and abilities. Killian Green Golf Club also boasts a special learning program for kids on their practice course.

Save your hard earned money
I don't care how affordable it seems compared to other courses it's not worth a dime to play it. The only people that can possibly be leaving this course a decent review are people that have never played golf before and don't know what a real golf course looks like. The rough and the fairway are the same they're just continuous hard garbage you're actually better in the rough in some spots than in the fairway. The tee boxes are non-existent just dark holes. Just a total joke of a golf course
An absolute dump
Don't be fooled by the price don't waste your money on this garbage dump of a golf course and I'm using the words golf course very liberally cuz it's basically playing in your backyard when you have it maintained it or watered it in months. There's no difference between the fairway and the rough it is a joke of a course $20 is a ripoff not to mention the 50 or 70 that they're charging. Anyone who has been forced to pay $70 to play this course should file a police report
Great greens speed
sand traps need RAKES. You need a STARTER ALL DAY. Yesterday he left and there was a lot of confusion. Probably having Rangers (volunteers) could have a better experience to a pretty good golf course
Double booked tee times
They had a tournament group playing and started them late. On top of that, they booked regular tee times to the public. I had a 7:18 tee time and didn't get to tee off until 8:10. It then took over two hours to play 5 holes. The course ranger made no effort to speed up pace of play and the course management had no remorse for what they did. They refused any refunds to people asking for them before playing their round. It's also worth noting that this course does not have a clubhouse or bathrooms. You have to use the restaurant next door which doesn't open until 11am. This course has a long history of over booking tee times and late starts. However, I've never seen anything this egregious in my life. They simple do not care about you.
Best bang for your buck but with a catch!
Killian Greens is a surprisingly nice course. The greens were once again in great shape, plays fast but very consistent. The course is in good condition and paying $40 in South Florida is winning. There is a catch, on Monday & Wednesday’s is when you can get that discounted green fee but of course that comes with a lot of bookings and slow pace of play. Maybe it’s because I like to play very early and everyone has the same idea and preference but I expected it at that rate and quality of course. Regardless, I enjoyed my time.
It’s worth
We played for the second time this golf and enjoyed it a lot as we did not have to wait between the shots.
Unfortunately the restaurant was closed what we didn’t know before!
Last minute policy change
I Typically play 9 holes. When I arrived on Sunday, the employee at the pro shop told me that the policy changed. They only allow 9 hole games after noon time. I asked her when did this new rule take effect ? She replied it was changed 2 days ago. I cancelled my tee time, because of a previous engagement I couldn’t play 18. She told me to send an email to @killiangreens.com to cancel or I would get charged a cancellation fee, so I did. The manager refused to budge on his new rule and went ahead and charged my credit card later that afternoon the full $145.00 course fee. I believe it was totally unacceptable being they made the new rule 2 days ago without advanced notice. Nevertheless I put a dispute on my credit card over this outrageous charge. I will not be returning to play at killian greens nor the other 4 golfers that play with me.
