Short game heaven
Great place to work on your shirt game and accuracy!!
Longest hole is 180 yard so you don't need all you r clubs in your bag. Great place to work on short game and accuracy, very hilly and lots of water. Greens were fast and some had Tricky brakes. For as much Raina's we have had they were not in the best of shape but it is early in the year!
Pretty good value
the greens could use a little work, but I will definitely play again! the course was good for the price and it was nice to just go out and walk a few holes without needing all my clubs.
Save your money...I have seen cow pastures in better shape
Probably the worst golf course I have ever played...par 3 course, the greens hardly had any grass on them, some greens were only mud...outrageous price of $13 to play this armpit of a course and to top it off $5 for a walking cart...tee boxes were the only positive I have to say about this course
Very Challenging 3 Par Course
First time playing at Westdale Hills, it was very challenging but Very Fun to play. Lost a lot of balls to the water...lol Will definitely play there again.
Great course
Fun challenging, well kept walking course, will return.
Fun and Challenging
Course was in good shape when we played. My son and I had a great time.
Great short game practice
The longest club you will use is maybe 6 iron once. All the other holes play shorter...Good short game course
Quick little practice course
Not a horrible course. Very cheap to play. Very good if you're looking for a quick round after work, great place to work on your short game. Depending on how far you hit your clubs you may not need more than an 8 iron. I play here often, something I can stop by and get a quick round in, plus good for exercise since there are no carts. Course conditions are ok. Don't expect the world, but don't forget how much you're paying.
Make an investment and spend more money elsewhere
For $10 it was ok. I honestly wouldn't go back. I would much rather spend more money and play on nicer greens.
Cheap 9-hole round, lacks course rating
Not a bad way to pass the time, especially if you want to bone up on your short game skills. The green quality varies quite a bit in terms of size and skill necessary to land your shot. I believe there were 3 forced carries (3,8,9).
On the down side...no coolers allowed, and no USGA rating or slope (yes, I've played a lot of 9-hole courses that have them). Also, the course is located in the middle of a gigantic apartment complex that has seen better days...I worried just a touch about how I'd find my car when I got back.
The course is challenging fo a pa 3 only. Need to get the tee box markers in place for distance.
The course is challenging. The only problem I saw was the guys that were mowing the tee box area was just throwing the markers back anywhere. You can't play another 9 without paying full price....smh
Fun course
It was a nice course, need a couple more weeks for the greens to fill in... Had a great time.... Enjoyed it
Cool little course
Played for the first time. Course was a little difficult to find, not much signage and drove right by it the first time. Parking lot is very tight, so I had to park in the apartment complex next to the 1st. tee box. Speaking of apartment complex, this course is surrounded by apartment buildings all around it. It's almost as if the golf course itself is the "backyard" of all the apartments.
The course itself was in great shape, it is a true par-3 course (9 holes only) with the longest hole being about 180 yards, so leave your Driver & fairway woods/hybrids at home. Most of the holes are elevated as well as some of the fairways, so you will be walking up and down a lot of hills. There is also a lot of water in play, so despite being a small course, I would say it's fairly challenging.
There are no electric carts, but hand carts are available to rent. I used one of their hand carts, it was the older style that is rather large with no straps, so it will hold your largest bag, but my stand bag almost fell off a couple of times.
Great value, paid $9 twilight rate and it was all you can play, so I was able to get 18 holes in. The older gentleman running the counter was very friendly and helpful. Would play here again.
That's weak. You must be a pro if the markers mean so much to you. I think to play the back nine it's $7.00. So save your $ and buy a GPS.
