Cool little course
Played for the first time. Course was a little difficult to find, not much signage and drove right by it the first time. Parking lot is very tight, so I had to park in the apartment complex next to the 1st. tee box. Speaking of apartment complex, this course is surrounded by apartment buildings all around it. It's almost as if the golf course itself is the "backyard" of all the apartments.
The course itself was in great shape, it is a true par-3 course (9 holes only) with the longest hole being about 180 yards, so leave your Driver & fairway woods/hybrids at home. Most of the holes are elevated as well as some of the fairways, so you will be walking up and down a lot of hills. There is also a lot of water in play, so despite being a small course, I would say it's fairly challenging.
There are no electric carts, but hand carts are available to rent. I used one of their hand carts, it was the older style that is rather large with no straps, so it will hold your largest bag, but my stand bag almost fell off a couple of times.
Great value, paid $9 twilight rate and it was all you can play, so I was able to get 18 holes in. The older gentleman running the counter was very friendly and helpful. Would play here again.
Great Course for Beginners Like Me
This course doesn’t have all the “bells and whistles” that other courses have. However, that’s what I like about it. Great place to play especially if you’re a novice golfer like me. Even though it’s just 9 holes, you still get the value for your money. Definitely recommend this course if you wanna work on your game!
Great Value; Surprisingly Challenging
A surprisingly challenging par 3 course to dial in your game. $15 for 9 holes, $5 to replay the 9 holes. The greens were a bit bumpy and the bunkers were poor, but otherwise conditions were great. Definitely would return.
Course and Staff Needs Improvement
First off, the parking is absolutely horrible at this golf course. You will be required to park in the apartment parking lot as there are hardly any signs indicating where check-in is located. The staff there only consisted of a male who didn’t seem too thrilled to assist me with check in or explain anything about the overall course. Please keep in mind there are NO GOLF CARTS. However, it can be viewed as unnecessary considering the fact that there’s only 9 holes on the course. Lastly, the course could definitely use some help in the aesthetics department. It looks very old and out dated.
Nice Par 3 Course
Greens could be a little quicker. Tee boxes didn’t have many flat spots. Felt like most tee shots were hook or slice lie. However, the layout is awesome and enjoyed the undulations of the course. Made the course challenging even though it was a par 3 course.
Great affordable par 3 course
I played 18 holes in 2.5 hours. Great pace for a walking course. Considering the price I was happily surprised at the condition.
See you next time
What a nice little course! Big bang for your Buck here. Greens are in great shape. Wonderful place to take 3 or 4 clubs and work on your short game and getting over the metal thing of water hazards. We’ll be back for sure. Staff was very friendly. Beware of your playing during the week and do not park in the leasing office parking lot. There is designated parking for golfers by the first tee box not by the office.
Didn’t know…
Only a par 3 course. Thus no cart available. Both points were not mentioned in the ad. Wouldn’t pay $30 for a 9 hole par 3 course without a cart. Nope.
Playing for Years
Great par 3. Been coming here for years. I’m an avid golfer and play all over. This place is a quick and challenging course. Love coming here to work on irons and short game. I also have to laugh at some of the bad reviews…you have to look at this course like the Cheers Bar of golf courses….it’s not run like a country club. There’s rarely anyone at the office and most regulars just tee off on their own without checking in. And then afterwards you’ll usually run into someone so you can pay. They work almost on an honor system. It’s fairly well maintained for not having a lot of money to throw at it. Not carts allowed, only push. All you bad review people….it’s a par-3 course in Euless….and costs $10…..stop trying to act like you’re scheduling a tee time at Colonial.
Great Practice Course
On 03/18 I played this course for the second time ever. First time I went with friends, but this time I wanted to go by myself. If you’re a beginner, like me, you will enjoy this course as each hole offers you a different challenge and none of them are extremely difficult. It’s great for practicing on your pitching as well as your short game. The course could be maintained a little better, I did notice a black tarp that was left out on some sand banks, but aside from that everything else was decent. First time I went, I remember the greens were pretty bad, but this past weekend I could tell that they had gotten much better. I believe I will come back here to continue practicing.
Cheap 9 hole round
Not in great condition but you pay for what you get. Wish the course was in better condition as it s a great layout and good walk.
Public par 3
End of winter the course is not looking its best to say the least. We had a good time and enjoyed the outdoors. Treated it like a range session for the hot deal price. If I lived closer I would enjoy going back.
theres no way you payed 30$ when 18 holes price is 24 after tax
You didn't pay 30.00 to play here. The price is 10.00--15.00 max. Maybe Google the golf course before you play it.
