October 1st 2023 Round
The course is one of our favorites among those out of town but nearby. The amenities are a little spartan, but if you want to play Four Mile, deal with it. I like the course very much. It will put you in your place, so bring your "A" game or prepare for a robust score card. This course is a much fun as the mountain courses up at altitude without the two hour drive to reach them.
Very fun
We played from the white tees. From there it is a great target golf course.
Leave the driver at home. It will just get you in trouble.
Great.course
Had a fantastic time playing 4 mile. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Can’t wait to play again.
played many times, a little slow that day and very warm. always a good time however!!
Unusual, but Fun Layout
It’s a very unusual layout, with a number of blind shots, or shots through gaps in the terrain. Greens are ridiculously undulating. They were not very fast, but I’m not sure how much faster they could be, and still be playable. With that said, it’s a really fun layout. The staff was very friendly and very courteous. There is no clubhouse, it’s just run out of a single wide trailer, with no hot food available. Would be more fun after playing a few times to gain some local knowledge.
Like golden tee!!
Quirky course. Blind par 3, undulating greens( dinosaurs burried beneath them. Fun course if you don’t take it too seriously.
First timer challenge
First timers who can’t hit it straight will find this course very hard. There are few forced cries overflow high country vegetation and once over water on par 3’s..Buy a guide to learn how to play some blind tee shot holes. Overall the course is very enjoyable and the green complexes interesting.
Very unique course
Played there about 6 times in the past 2 months.
Introduced several new people to it all loved it.
Fub Course but pace of play slow
Course was in good shape. Party ahead of us was dog slow. Four older dudes playing from the Blue Tees. They would walk clear across the fairway instead of using their carts. 5 minutes to tee off. Pro Tip: if you cannot hit driver at least 250 yards or are new to golf, dont play from the tips. Use the White Tee instead. Cmon guys. Poor or no marshalling allowed for a 5 hour round of golf in 100 degree heat
Very fun course
Lots of blind shots. Super fun. Range balls not too good. Good condition
Hills
There are a lot of hills. The greens all break and there are a lot of blind shots. You can't just hit it and keep going you have to think about your next shot. There are wonderful views all around. Staff is nice,
Fantastic Course
Played an early morning round and it was the best round I’ve had in a long time. The course was in great shape, beautiful layout, and had holes golfers of every skill level would enjoy. Amazing views! If you live in Colorado or are just visiting this is a course you need to play!
Fun Course
Love playing here. The course design is very unique. No bunkers, but you better hit to the right side of the green. Great views on the back nine.
