Executive at Seven Springs Country Club
About
Seven Springs Country Club in New Port Richey offers two golf courses, the Challenger and the Championship. The club conveniently sits just minutes from the scenic Gulf of Mexico beaches and attractions of Tampa Bay. The Challenger Course is an executive-length layout that offers the same challenges as the more demanding Championship Course but on a smaller scale. There are not as many water features on the Challenger but there is a large lake and a meandering creek that comes into play on several holes. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides. The layout offers a gentler version of the Championship that is more manageable for beginners but it is also a great quick round for more experienced players. It is even gentle enough for juniors to get in some short game practice.

Don’t go there!
Course is in terrible shape. T blocks have an abundance of sand covering the grass/dirt. Greens are more like long grass, impossible to putt.
Horrible experience. Wouldn’t play there even if it was free. Gave up on a number of holes because of terrible conditions.
NOT worth it...
Very small course only par 3's and 4's..no bringing the big clubs out...very small, holes were clustered together, pain to figure out where the next hole was (no maps). Greens were tiny, We were just a two-some and they let a 5-some go in front of us with 4 in carts and one person walking. Lots of old folks who were more intent on catching up on the news of the day than golfing...slowed us down to where we quit around the 15th hole cause we knew we wouldn't finish for another couple of hours.

Course was a little far away but price made the trip worthwhile.
Slow
Played behind 2 foursomes. There were 2 open holes in front of the.
Course is totally neglected. The marshals are useless in speeding up play. Most of the course is playing on dirt. If I wasn’t a poor golfer I would never play this again
Short
Accidentally booked the executive course instead of the championship course. Mostly part 3s. My mistake, still beats a day in the office.
Excellent Value
Fun executive / par 3 course! Ran through 18 in about 3 hours, moderately challenging, for 25 bucks you can’t ask for a better golf afternoon.
