First time here!
My wife and I chanced playing at a course we were not familiar with. Great idea to play here! Tees, fairways, greens were in great condition. Layout is fun and interesting with enough water hazards to keep you honest but not ruin the day! We will definitely play here again!

We usually play Calusa Lakes every year at this time. In the past the course conditions have been fair to good. But this year the course was in great shape. The tees, fairways and greens were all in wonderful condition. We hope to play there again before we head back nous.
Very Nice Course
Nice layout with houses setback from fairways....no worries about hitting a house. Greens and fairways were both excellent. Really enjoyed my round.
Calusa’s the best
We can play Calusa Lakes anytime when tee time is available. One of the best golf course all around in Sarasota. The greens NEVER disappoints us
Best Greens in the area
A little rough around the edges but you see that they are working on it.
No marshall so it can be slow at times.
Best Greens around here usually running around 11 on the stimp.
Sat Golf
We had a fun time playing at Calusa Lakes!! The course & greens were in great shape!! Pace of play was good at 4 hrs!! The Cart girl, Dawn was very nice & friendly & made really good drinks!! We will be back!!
Calusa Lakes Nice Mid-Length Course
Shot a round with my 16 year old son Kinda windy yesterday but couldn’t se was in great shape greens were fast
Area’s Best!
One of Venice’s best golf course. When you drive into the parking lot you are greeted with the person in the golf buggy to take your clubs! After checking in at the pro shop the starter will let you know who you follow! Every staff member is very cordial and informative. Once you are let go to play, you are at the first tee.. Just looking out at the beautiful fairway on the par five you know you are in for a treat! New owners are getting a handle on this golf course right away. New sod being installed around certain areas, traps are very playable, and the greens are tremendous! Very puttable. Enjoy your day @ Calusa Lakes…

Course in nice condition windy conditions made scoring a challenge few bare spots and overall nice conditions
Extremely slow round
The course is drying out and conditions have fallen off since 2 weeks ago. Also, our round was over 5 hours.
