Flamingo Lakes Country Club in Pembroke Pines is one of the area's best-kept secrets. The layout is challenging but it is also very forgiving, making it accessible for players of any skill level. The course differs from other golf courses in the area due to its hilly terrain. Elevation changes are not common occurrences on Florida golf courses but you'll find several tricky uneven lies on this one. It also stands out for its superb conditions. Water hazards come into play on almost every hole, presenting some interesting risk-reward opportunities. There are also several strategically placed bunkers lurking throughout. The layout requires thought and strategy in order to score well. Flamingo Lakes isn't long, instead it provides a quick and challenging round that can be played in less than four hours.

Pretty good
Course is a good but not too difficult challenge for your average weekend golfer. It's fairly well maintained with some pretty interesting layouts that I appreciated. People in front of us could have gone faster but that's not on the course so I won't hold it against them. Main criticism - no driving range so you have to go in cold. If you want to warm up, you get to chip and put only. I'd still recommend and play again.
The course has no yard markers
No yard markers , no directions to the any hole , hie are you suppose to guess where your going ?
Good on a deal
Great course. I paid $35 and that’s a very fair price for this track. Greens were in good condition. The couple I played with got out for $22 so that was a steal! Lots of water on the course so don’t let the yardage fool you. It’s not a walk in the park. Greens were in great shape and rolled well. I try to play here whenever I visit
Course was barely average
Nothing spectacular about the course. Gated access from attached community. Took about 20 minutes to get through security. Brutal.
South Florida Golf
Reasonable price for short term decision to play golf. Course is not long and water is in play. Could use more yardage marking on the course (did not bring my golf watch). Located in a retirement community so older people play the course requierly.
