Lost Key Golf Club
About
Lost Key Golf Club is conveniently situated equidistant from the historic downtown area of Pensacola and the pristine white sand beaches of Orange Beach and the Gulf Shores. The Arnold Palmer-designed layout was Florida's first golf course to be certified as an Audubon International Silver Signature Sanctuary. It underwent a major renovation in 2006 that included the addition of 2,200 native trees, 13,000 wetland plantings, and the resurfacing of the tees, greens, fairways, and rough. The golf course now presents a formidable test for even the most seasoned golfers. The greens are large and undulating and the flat fairways are lined with trees. There are also doglegs fairways on six holes and sand bunkers on several others. Lost Key Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 13th hole, which requires a tee shot over water to a partial island green that rolls across dramatic elevation changes.

Best course in Pensacola
That I've played so excluding Marcus Pointe or NAS
Known as Lost Ball because you must stay on fairways
We'll maintained and attractive
Superior kitchen when mgt gives it a chance
So so so bad
This course has fallen off a cliff the past decade. It was once a gem and is now one of the worst courses in the area. Charging $85 for the conditions is honestly unreal. It’s easily the worst value on the panhandle. The attached picture was the middle of a fairway.
very slow play
It was very slow play even being a Sunday afternoon. The starter needs to make sure people are playing from correct tees and seems course was overbooked with a lot of people playing from wrong tees.
Fun Golf Experience
Had a fun day at Lost Key! The large undulating greens are fast and smooth! The tees and fairways are kind of thin coming out of winter, but very playable. Not ready to play the ball down but they will get better with each week. Check in was quick and easy and staff was very accommodating. Will be back the next time we are in Orange Beach!
Thank you so much for the great review. We are glad you had an incredible time, and we hope to see you again soon! Thanks for choosing Lost Key Golf Club.
Probably a great course ... in season
Lots of bare patches, sandy soil exposed. But greens were in superb condition.
Not a course for mid to high handicappers. Greens could be mistaken for elephant burial grounds, fairways were tight. Course is not particularly scenic either.
Staff were excellent, very polite and helpful.
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. We are going to pass on your feedback to the team. Thanks for visiting Lost Key Golf Club, and we hope to see you again in the future.
Need to see
Interesting test with good greens of a different type for FL. Hard to see where to commit a shot to but want to play again now that I know more. It could use some tidee up landscaping but if trimmed up and a few areas sodded it could be a real good value around $60 pp. Worth checking out on a deal.
Hello, thank you for visiting us at Lost Key Golf Club. We appreciate your 4-star rating and review. We hope you join us for another round soon.
Great greens - fairways need turf
Greens are best I’ve seen in the area. Fairways are mostly sand. Some layout snafus where you have to double back to the tee or there’s not a safe place to park your cart- not well thought out from a design perspective.
Play was too slow on front for not being crowded.
Once the slowbirds quit after 9 we were able to play the back 9 in an hour and get done before dark.
Rates are higher than they ought to be for the conditions.
Wow! We are so happy you enjoyed your round! We look forward to seeing you again soon at Lost Key Golf Club.
always fun
Lost Key is always a fun course to play. While somewhat challenging, it is a fair test of keeping your ball in play. Must be why the locals call it "Lost Balls"
