Yeah I am that guy. Missed the fairway, got frustrated and totally missed on my next shot. Friends took a photo for proof. Photo submitted by currdog7 on 12/27/2012
Teleli Golf Club
Course is in great condition but the wait times are awful. We waited at least 5 minutes on every hole up to hole 11 we ended up leaving it was so slow. It too is 3 hours to play 10 holes.
Fun course to play.
First time playing since new ownership. As of yet no major changes. Keeping plenty of water on the course.
Everything was in pretty good shape.
Golf 7-24
Second time in two weeks to play. Fun course in great shape. Very friendly staff. Had lunch after and that was good as well. Fun day.
Challenging but fun course
Big open fairways. Greens are really fast. Be prepared to hit up and downhill a bit. Very fun.
Hidden gem in the foothills
I last played here about 20 years ago, when it was still Mountain Springs, and it looks like I am the first review since it opened up under new ownership just a couple weeks ago, Today was a Thursday morning and I teed off at 7:15 am and played in 3 and a half hours playing a couple balls on each hole.
Course was in really good shape, as you would imagine, seeing as how its had zero play recently.
The greens were PUUURE! Rolling about 11 on the stimpmeter. I just hope the locals learn to fix ballmarks and they stay rolling awesome.
Layout of the course is a little tricky with a couple blind doglegs, where you just have to take the conservative route to the fairway or green if its your first time.
Shop guy was really nice and remembered my grandparents from over 20 years ago.
Pace of play was excellent. Course looked to be getting busier on the front nine when I was finishing up my round, through.
Mountain course
Awesome course. But you will be hitting alot of blind shots so make sure the group in front is clear. Basically drive up the hill then back down. You must do this 3 or 4 times even to find out where the hole is. But overall great course. Wasn't a big fan of the young kid that checked us in. But the guy later in the day made it up. Tell the young kid to smile and just at least want to be there.
Gold country surprise
Amazing layout with so many blind tee shots with a lot of uphill and downhill approach shots!!
Have to play it to really appreciate it!!!!!
Head to the hills and enjoy
The course is in excellent condition, fairways are green and well kept and greens were perfect. Beautiful views, even scene some wild turkeys.
Many blind shots
Greens were excellent, bunkers were good. Fairways a bit firm , tee boxes are in rough shape. Some good value , staff is great, worth checking out if in the area. Not super gimmicky but still many blind shots necessitate some course knowledge or a bit of driving around which is a bit tiresome.
Excellent & Terrible
This course is severely affected by the drought.
The greens were excellent - the best seen here in 20 years, and far better than at Greenhorn or Saddle Creek (all three courses played the same weekend).
The Mnt Springs fairways were hardpan. They obviously have decided to water the greens, and they were perfect.
The course, as usual, was very tough. Bring your game.
Every shot is interesting
I play generally this course twice a week. Lots of up and down, sloped fairways and elevated greens. The course never plays the same twice given shot variation and roll. The greens are in great shape. Some of the bunkers could use some work, best to avoid these anyway. Great views and vistas.
Had a good & fun golf day
It's a nice course. I had 3 people with me that had never played there before. We all had a good day and a fun time.
The course has potential
It really is (or was) a nice course. the lack of care and attention is taking its toll. Sand traps are uncared for and overgrown. Fairways are very dry and grass is dying. Tee boxes are in need of some care as well. Pace of play is extremely slow as there is no players assistants or marshals to be seen. very frustrating !!
peace and quiet......
Recommend you ask at the clubhouse for a yardage book before you play; if you've never played here, this one will eat you up.
Built through the rolling hills, you'll hardly get a level lie.
After you finish the brutal 9th, and swear youll never play here again, pauseonthe back and listen. Few places we can go and hear......... Nothing
Really cool.
Excellent Challenge
This was my 1st time I've played this course and will not be my last. This course is a good test for all levels of golf. You might hit a beautiful shot and due to the slope find your ball 50 yards to the right or left. You got to give it a try we found the greens to be fast and a bit tricky. Go Play!
The course is well maintaned
The greens on this course are great . The fairways are taken care off and are cut very short which are nice . Would play again most definitely.
This course is challenging with great elevation changes.
I love to play this course because of the hazards, elevation changes and the fact that they keep the course in great shape.
A great day of golf that included seeing a turkey tom protecting two hens.
Playing this course was a pleasant experience from the time we entered the pro shop to check in until we finished playing 18. The course was in top condition and the view is awesome in every direction.
