Its has a par 6
really the only good thing about this course is its par 6. the fairways were swampy, the greens were sandy, and the bunkers were in no way maintained. To top it off, the course was confusing because they changes holes around. At least two holes it took me some searching to see where i needed to hit my second shot.
Basic layout with very good greens
The rough was thick due to heavy rains. The fairways were soggy, but the greens were very good except for the 16th. A lot of straight holes on a flat piece of property. It was basic golf, playable, but not too memorable other than the par 6 hole.
Course and greens in very good shape.
Enjoyed the course as greens were very receptive to iron shots. I used to play this course years ago and layout has changed quite a bit. Live 45 minutes away and club offered us a good discount on future plays.
Great course to play!
The course is very well maintained. All of the staff are friendly and very considerate to the players.
Super way to be treated!
Great course for the ego plus it has a Par 6.
Beautifully designed course. Spacious tee shot landing areas. Fairways carpeted & greens pretty fast. Just a fun course to play. Carts have windshields but no raincover in the back for the bags. My 4-some saw a "bobcat" here also. Will definitely play here again.
Always enjoy the challenge
Play wise...it could be better. Always seems overbooked, with backups on most holes. A ranger would be nice to move play along. Alittle complicated now that holes have been reassigned.
Beautiful, But Slow Play
We played the Panther Creek course at Spring Lake. The course itself was beautiful but it took nearly 4 1/2 hours to
play. This was not the fault of the course but the snail-like foursome in front of us. Also, the cart was low on charge and we felt we had to turn it off at tees and greens to preserve the charge. Saw a cart, which apparently died on the course, being dragged off the course by the staff. Otherwise, a good deal.
Just one step up from being a cow pasture.
