Average course - Great Greens - poor attention to details
As most of the reviews state - you'll not find any better greens on a non-resort golf course than you find here.
The fairways are plenty wide to hit, but good luck trying to find your ball should you venture off the fairway much. There are so many leaves and uncut weeds just a few feet off the fairway throughout the whole course - you'll spend more time than you should have to trying to locate your ball.
Poor attention to detail gripe #1:
There is not a drop of drinking water on the course - This has been brought up to the staff several times the past few years. There is water available at the clubhouse and vending machines on the course (at least one per nine holes) but $3 for a sugary drink ... c'mon staff - spend a few bucks to put a couple of water jugs out there on each side !
Poor attention to detail gripe #2:
Who's bright idea is it to allow people to use the 10th fairway as a practice range during open play on a Sunday afternoon? I hit a fairly nice drive, clearing the crest of the fairway and staying right in the middle (to avoid all the afore mentioned leaves and tall weeds off the fairway) ... I drive up to find 75+ golf balls scattered throughout the middle of the fairway as a couple was using the down slope side of the hole as a driving range. If this was my first time on the course - I'd think - oh a couple of rude golfers. However - as this is my 5th or 6th time out here in the past few years - this appears to be a standard practice - to use the 10th fairway as a range. A half dozen to a dozen balls - OK - I can live with that. BUT 75+ golf balls ... it took me several minutes to sort through them all to find mine and of course the couple just kept hitting them out on the fairway as our group played through.
Great greens you have ... but poor attention to other course details and your course is only a half a step away from being a "basic public" course !
Average Course
Found the course to be OK. It was a windy day but the fairways are very generous. The bunkers were unplayable - the sand was completely hard packed. The greens looked good but the speed was inconsistent. The layout was not super interesting.
Terrific Temple Terrace!
Check in was great - 60 degrees and sunny. Light breeze 5-6. Pro Shop was helpful being a first timer.
The fairways could use some more grass but the Greens were rolling very well. Tee boxes were good.
No cart girl on Tuesday. Jeff the cart guy was johnny on the spot! A cold beer at the end of a great round outside on the patio is a must. Patio overlooks #1 and the putting green. Thanks TTGCC!
Different than most Florida courses
This was a really enjoyable course. The course is different than most Florida courses in that water really only comes into play on one hole. The tee shots are not challenging, but the greens are very small with many bunkers, which makes for some very challenging approach shots. The course is extremely picturesque and I loved the course in general.
Everything was in pretty good shape. Bunker sand was a touch heavy, greens had a couple of spots here or there, and it was sometimes hard to tell where fairways started and ended. However, for the price (I paid $57 after taxes/fees), I felt this course was a great value for the money.
Great layout
The greens were very slow, compared to recent times. #7 green, is still not in great shape.
Everyone had to play a shortened #1 because of a festival on the leftside of the hole.
Bendelow challenge
Had a great day at Temple Terrace. Staff and members really friendly. Got paired up with a lovely couple from Upstate New York which made the game even more enjoyable. Course is not too tough but is laid out well. Only one real water hazard made for a pleasant change from usual Florida courses. Lots of shots to tree lined fairways and some tough dog legs. Overall in very good shape with greens especially good. Highly recommended
March 6th Experience
Wow, what a fun day on an historic course I learned a lot about from wonderful, professional employees (in the clubhouse and while playing the course with an employee and his dad).. The greens were phenomenal, as was the layout. Lots of variety! Can’t wait to get back there again next February/March, bringing others with me. Truly an enjoyable experience in every way.
Good round
Course was in good shape, pace moved easily without waiting.
Course and greens were a great shape would definitely come back
Not worth the 75
Nice greens, great pace of play. Poor conditions not worth the $75. Closer to a $40-50 course.
Great staff, very average conditions
Staff was super friendly. Course conditions were belles expectations. Some fairways, t-off and greens were very rough.
Little rough, but a nice layout.
The course is laid out nicely. Staff is friendly and helpful. Grounds keepers are polite and stop while you’re swinging. Sand traps are in pretty good shape. Fairways and greens are a little rough, but better than a lot of other courses I’ve played at and it cost less than those courses too. Yardage markers are hard to see as they are slabs flush with the ground and the distance plates were missing from every sprinkler head that I saw. Unless you’re using an app, you don’t know the layout because it’s not on the scorecard and there isn’t a preview at the tee box. The course is nice and could be excellent if some of the minor details were addressed. Either way, it made for a nice day of golf.
Nice course
Love playing here. The pace was great and the course is in great condition.

Fabulous course and great pace of play
Nicely nestled in an upscale neighborhood with a Junior college nearby. Right size greens and gracious fairways. No gps cart restrictions which is fine by me. Flat T boxes, but could be better identified.
