Getting better with age

I was a Junior Member of this Course and honestly it just keeps getting better and better with age. Great Front Nine Views overlooking the Water Valley and they’ve done a fantastic job of adding new features every year.

AVERAGE TRACK

I had been excited to play this track because of some of the hype that I had heard.......But after giving it a go I was quite disappointed. The condition of the course was fair at best. They are charging a premium green fee On a weekday at the same rate as two courses close by Valley Ridge and Bearspaw. But both of those courses are in a different league in my opinion.

The course does call for some precise shotmaking and forces you to use less than driver (from the tips) on a lot of the par 4’s..... but the overall design and site lines from the tee boxes did not justify the premium green fee.......Gleneagles 15 mins away in the town of Cochrane is also a better track in my opinion.

Great course, facility and staff!

Played this course for the first time today. Can't find anything negative to say - 4 hour round, great course conditions, friendly and helpful staff, etc. The course layout is challenging but fair - some water, etc. The bunkers were a little hard - could use some softening.

I really appreciated a couple of things they did. They had a student discounted rate so my 16 year old daughter played for a great rate. They also loaned her a demo driver for free as hers was broken enroute while travelling to Calgary.

I will play this course again when I am back in Calgary!

Love It

This is a great combination of target and what I would call regular golf. The greens and fair and true and the overall condition is very good depending of course what time of year you play...it is in Calgary after all. For good golfers the back tees are a good test as there is quite a bit of out of bounds with houses close by. The views are great and the staff is very friendly...especially Agata in the lounge :) Be careful of your distances and if you take a cart they do have GPS.
